my handle is missing the small button trim piece that covers the screw. How do I get onother one. also i need langer swrews 4.5 inches.

how do I get these items.
Asked by: mary ellen
Hi Mary Ellen, Thank you for your question! There is no part number for just the button. The entire rp44118 handle has to be ordered. Alsi, we do not have a longer screw but the screw size is 10-24. I recommend checking a hardware or plumbing supply for a screw that is the same size. Best regards, Brandis

what does the inside of the handles look like.

is it made for delta stem extentions. is it d shaped
Asked by: dave
Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. The inside of the RP44118RB handle is not the "D" shape. The handle is made to fit on the 13/14 series single handle tub/shower faucets. The opening is a longer oval shape with flat sides and rounded ends.

Can you help with faucet problems?

We have a delta monitor shower faucet. It has given us trouble for years. In particular, the handle continues to have problems. We have lived in our home for 10 years and have ordered parts and had plumber out to the house on numerous occasions. I think it was a faulty design. I believe the white plastic part on the end is the problem. It strips out after a short time using it.

Hi Danny, We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem with your faucet. It almost looks like your cartridge is a combination of 2 different versions. We would recommend getting a new RP19804 cartridge that will have a metal stem and a new handle like the RP48717 that does not require a handle adapter. This handle will mount directly to the cartridge, no more plastic connection to wear. Thanks, Dave
