Can the faucet be adjusted if it was installed backwards?
ie cold is hot and hot is cold.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP46070 can be flipped over to switch the hot and cold supply if it got installed backwards.

why the water is not hot enough?
I recently bought this product and had it installed. It seems as it the lever does not go far enough to make the water hot. Looking at the diagram I see that there is a stopper on the cap assembly that prevents the lever to go all the way or at least far enough. Can this be adjusted? What can I do if the item is defective and already installed in my shower.
If the shower handle was a clock, the "off" position is 3, and the farthest "hot" position is 12. Is this the right range of motion?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet part #RP46070 includes a rotational limit stop to adjust the temperature of the water. To access this piece, the cap/handle will need to be removed. The limit stop is a notched dial, where adjusting it to the left will allow more hot water to flow through the valve. Subsequently, should a consumer wish to lower the hot water, the limit stop can be adjusted to the right.
