is the Plaster Guard necessary?

Plumber put screws in wrong holes and cracked plaster guard that came with shower set. Is it necessary for installation? will be tiling, DIY job, not pro tiler.
Asked by: TXMAMA
Hi, TXMAMA! Thank you for your question. The plaster guard, RP46075, is not necessary after you install the valve body. The plaster guard works as a template to know how big your hole size should be and how far the stringer to finished wall is. Best Regards, Rosanna

Will this work with the MultiChoise Universal Valve?

My father threw the box away by accident, and the plasterguard was inside. I need a plasterguard to replace it, but I am not sure this is compatible with the Multichoice Universal Valve I installed.
Asked by: Chris
Hi Chris, Thank you for your question. The RP46075 is the plasterguard used with the R10000 multichoice universal rough. Thanks, Dave
