On kit RP63792 would you recommend placing the smooth side next to the bottom of the sink or the side with the washer protruding, or would you use it different depending on the type of sink (cast iron, stainless steel, etc.) ?

Asked by: MW56
Hi, MW56! Thank you for your question. The smooth side of the washer should be facing up, and should be next to the bottom of the sink. The rough side should be facing down. Best Regards, Rosanna

Hi Tony, Thank you for your question! This part is used with our DST (Diamond Seal Technology) faucets to improve stability. If the faucet does not seem to sit solidly on the sink or countertop, this kit will help. Best regards, Jon
