I have Model T17097-SS Cassidy Monitor 17 Series Valve Trim. I would need to take the temperature control knob off. Previous replies are very old. Is there a current video demonstration for removal?

Hi, mkay! Thank you for your question. We do not have a specific video that shows the removal but we do have a video to show how to adjust the rotational limit stop, at the 1:50 minute mark will show the removal of the temperature knob and cover in this video. Here is a link to this: https://www.deltafaucet.com/video-gallery/video-page-1?videoId=n2_uZ7wgV1I Best Regards, Rosanna

how do I remove the temperature know valve & cover on model T17430

The reason is the volume control handle has become very stiff and hard to turn.

Hi Lois, Thank you for your question! In order to remove the temperature knob and cover you simply pull the temperature cover off, and then undo the screw holding the knob in place. The how-to video I've linked below should show these steps. http://www.deltafaucet.com/tools-resources/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=tyUaPOBcuLY&cat= Best Regards, Daniel

how do i remove temp control handle

handle won't go to hot only warm
Asked by: chuck
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP72572 can be removed by squeezing the sides together slightly with one hand and then pulling up on the knob sticking out with the other hand. It should pop off. Underneath is the rotational limit stop that can be turned counterclockwise to allow more hot water to come through the valve.
