Rated 4 out of 5 by jessej from Pricey but worth it Existing faucet lasted almost ten years before the wand failed. I purchased a new wand and it was an exact fit and works. It was a bit pricey but is considerably less than a complete new faucet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MzMizzou from So far, so good Our old sprayer started leaking, so we ordered a replacement. First impression is that the material seems cheaper. The old one was heavier and seemed constructed better. It lasted 12 years, so we'll see how the new one holds up. Also, the hose that came with it wouldn't work with our old hardware, so Delta had to send me another hose...free! Installing the new hose was a royal pain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Retired Marine from Exact Replacement I bought this replacement faucet for a 7 year old unit that has been out of production for a few years. Had the exact replacement not been available, I would have had to change out the whole unit at a substantial cost. Faucets Direct had the exact replacement I needed and the change took less than five minutes. It works perfectly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dghan from Lacks hose clip The wand works fine but its description should mention a new, nondetachable hose comes with the wand and it doesn't include a hose clip. My old clip didn't fit it. I had to order a clip separately and pay shipping costs when I could have included the clip in the wand order if something in the wand description had told me about the hose and its clip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Orme from Faucet wand replacement perfect replacement part. But it came with no directions. I still had to get a buddy to show me how to effect the replacement. He is a pro and even he had some difficulty finding the way to open the new part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hickeyLTD from Delta after the fact It is nice to see good customer service, Many products today do not carry any "service" this is the second part that Delta has replaced for us at no cost. I will continue to by their products for our home, cabin and rental houses, Cost is not the only factor when purchasing quality product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by southern1 from Functional (for now) This wand works just fine. Unfortunately for me, it does not fit my faucet. The proper wand has been discontinued so this was the best I could do. It is somewhat frustrating that the wand it replaces was worn out after only three years and that the product was discontinued in that short period of time. This replacement wand "looks" like the original only it is sized just a bit smaller overall so that it doesn't fit the faucet correctly. The only other choice was to replace the entire faucet-not in the budget right now. For the cost, I would expect it to have lasted a much longer time. It seems this is way of most consumer goods-cheaply made, breaking easily and no replacement parts to be found. I don't expect this one to last any longer than the first one. Sad--

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Faucet Wand Assembly Replacement My landloard asked me to watch his dog while he went on a 7 day cruze. I agreed but found that he tried to fix his kitchen faucet. He's a older fela and likes to fix things if ya get my meaning. I was glad to help him out. I ordered what I needed and it was here in time for him to fix his faucet. He was very happy and I'm very pleased with the service that I got. Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen.

How do I remove the aerator? My model looks like the Artic stainless steel version.
I want to attach a python water changer for my aquarium.
Hi Jan, Thank you for your question. The cache aerator in the RP32542AR wand assembly can be removed with the RP52217 aerator wrench. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp52217.html Thanks, Dave

I have a Signature Single Handle Pull-out SS kitchen faucet installed in 2004. Will the RP32542AR Wand Assembly w/Hose work with it?
Do I need a new clip RP 32522 to connect the new hose?
Hi Jack, Thank you for your question. Your faucet will use the RP32542SS (Stainless Steel) wand. However, you will need to use the original hose, rather than the one that comes with the wand assembly. The included hose only works with DST models (2008 or later). The original hose is the RP44647, which will include a clip. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp44647.html Best regards, Jon

Can I just order the hose without the wand
Hi Gordon, Thank you for your question. This wand works with 470 and 470-DST models. DST models use the RP50390 hose, which have a white or black fitting that connects to a gray PEX tube. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp50390.html Non-DST models use the RP44647 hose, which has a brass fitting that connects to a brass nipple. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp44647.html Best regards, Jon

Toggle on wand is very hard to switch
Model 470-DST chrome finish Wand (RP32542 ?) is very hard to switch between stream and spray modes. Can it be lubricated or replaced? Thank you.
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. There is no replacement for the toggle switch on the wand for the model 470-DST faucet. The entire RP32542 wand asembly would need to be replaced. If you need warranty assistance with replacement parts please call our toll free Homeowner/Warranty line at 1-800-345-3358. Thanks, Dave

New Aerator on RP32542
I just ordered and received a new RP32542 wand assembly and I need to know what aerator is being used in this new wand as it does not match the one from my original wand from 2007 when the house was built. I need the new replacement aerator part number and what is the thread pattern of the new plastic aerator (i.e. 15/16" - 27). The wand I just received was made on 01/09/2015 based on date stamped on box.
Hi Larry, Thank you for your question. The aerator used in the RP32542SS wand assembly is the RP76076. The thread pattern is a metric M21.5x1.5-6H. Thanks, Dave

delta wand assembly Part# RP32542, does it come with the pull out tube? If not what is the part # for the pulll out tube
Hi John, Thank you for your question. The RP32542 wand assembly includes the spray hose used on our DST faucets. If you have a non-DST faucet you will also need to order the RP32527 hose. Thanks, Dave

Delta wand assy. RP32542
Is the aerator assy. included with the RP32542 Wand Assy. or must it be ordered? One might think it's included since the diagram shows both. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP32542 does include the aerator in the model.

Can this be taken apart for cleaning?
Thank you for your question, John! A Delta wand is not designed to be taken apart as there are no repair parts available. Doing so will damage the wand as well as void the warranty. Instead, we advise pouring a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water into the wand directly to removing mineral buildup. Best regards, Edward
