Q&A

Does the brass quick connect fitting on the end of the hose include o-ring or gasket?

I installed the unit as shipped and it leaked. I checked the original fitting and it had gaskets. I pulled the gaskets from the original and inserted them into the new fitting and it works. Is it possible the o-ring / gasket is part of bottom sink connector?
Asked by: Jack
Dear Jack, The Delta Vegetable Sprayer RP50782 comes with a white washer and a gasket inside the end that connects to the faucet nipple. We do not advise removing them. Best regards, Tanya

Quick connect gaskets

Regarding the quick connect end: my connection came apart and I would like to know what order the black gasket and white plastic fitting go? Since I couldn't see them come apart either, do the go inside the gray plastic quick connection? Thank you
Asked by: Greg
Thank you for your question, Greg. The small black o-ring goes into the brass fitting on the hose first, then the plastic ring. The gray pieces go on the outside with the metal spring holding them together. Please note that we do not recommend to disassemble the quick-connect clip, as it may be difficult to reassemble and ensure a water-tight connection. Best regards, Jon

I only need the spray handle not the whole assembly

calcium deposits make the spray button stick
Asked by: Jim
Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the spray head only is not available as a separate item. The entire RP50782 spray assembly would have to be ordered. You can also unscrew the sprayer and soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to help break up the calcium deposits. Make sure to rinse the sprayer when done. Thanks, Dave

Based on the Delta Model 21902 Two Handle Kitchen Faucet brochure 53835 Rev A it indicates that the replacement part number for the spray assembly is RP50782. When checking this out further I find this is not the case. It does not match the sprayer I have
