Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I have always loved Delta products. This faucet set is exactly what I would expect from Delta. Very high quality looking and the chrome finish just shines. This has everything needed to update my shower. The directions included are easy to follow but there are also how-to videos on their website. The MultiChoice rough is great because you can easily change out the style of the fixtures without changing any plumbing. The shower head has 5 different spray settings. The spray settings go from a gentle spray to a massaging spray and in-between. This is the full package if you are looking to upgrade your showers look.

What is the difference between 134900-A-R and 134900-A-WS-R tub/shower models.

Can this kit be used to replace an old Delta handle and tub spout?  I can't find a model number, it's a 1997 white Delta handle and screw on spout. I did call Delta and was told my cartridge is R19804 and to use something that's T13 or T 14 compatible.

Hi Maureen, Thank you for reaching out to Delta Faucet Company! There is a series printed on the escutcheon plate under the handle. If you are using our older 13/1400 series valve and trim you can use any of our current 14 or T14 tub/shower trims. Please note, the cartridge included with our new trims are not compatible with the older valves. The 134900-A-R will include a rough-in valve but the trim will fit the older 13/14 series valves. Tub spouts have different connections, the one included with 134900-A-R has a threaded or solder connection using RP12307 adapter. Does the tub spout screw on or slip on and secured with set screw. Also how long is the spout?

Is this compatible for replacement of delta trim kit with push button diverter?

Hi Tatsiana, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 134900-A-R. This would not fit every Delta trim with a push button diverter. This needs the included valve, a MultiChoice Universal R10000 series valve. The push button diverter can be plugged with RP2865. Will this replace 1700 Delta monitor ?

Hi Digger, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 134900-A-R. Unfortunately, this cannot replace a pre-2006 1700 series without replacing the valve rough. A current 17 series trim can be used with a 1700 series. The new cartridge won't fit, but the rest of the trim fits the old cartridge and valve. If the shower faucet was installed in 2006 or later and uses a MultiChoice valve, this shower can replace it without replacing the valve rough. Please reach out with any additional questions! I bought this product from Home Depot, however I found that the Wall Mounted Tub Spout has a small tunnel/tube that will not fit my galvanized pipe. Please advice what I should do to make it fit my water pipe.

Can I use this trim with cartridge RP32104? The 1700 Series trim is terrible & the temperature knob breaks very easily. If this trim won’t work can you please suggest a better & studier trim to work with this specific cartridge?

Hi Steph, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, a shower that uses the RP32104 cartridge would be from before our MultiChoice valve, which allows a variety of trim types. Currently, only a 17-series trim will fit the cartridge. If there have been issues with a 17 series temp knobs that snaps on. Some models that use a set screw to attach the temperature handle instead include: T17433 T17072-PR T17043-PR T17035 T17089-PR T17084-PR See the Parts and Accessories Diagrams for how the handle attaches, or please reach out with any additional questions!
