Monitor® pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ± 3.6⁰ F (± 2.0⁰ C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
- Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Fast Massage spray, Full Spray with Massage, High Efficiency Spray
- Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
- Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
- Complete unit includes trim and MultiChoice® Universal Valve with rough-in

No More Drip
I had a single handle faucet installed with the original tub shower. It was a dripper from day one. Replaced the ball and rubber seats so many times only to last weeks before dripping again. It was a pain to re work the plumbing for changing the valves, but it should be well worth the trouble. No more drips and I hope it stays that way.

This faucet is a pleasure to use.--all we need is a light touch on the handle and we can get the correct temperature for showers--I guess the instructions are geared towards a pro,I am dyier,and I got by ok with the installation(to me the instructions were not real detailed,but ok)

Great shower .
Bought this to replace a 25 year old Price Phister . Hope this one is as long lasting . I like the fact that the cartridge is so easy to change if you get a drip . Not like taking out the stem and replacing washers and seats .

Great quality but needs some performance attention
We purchased all Delta for both bathrooms and kitchen. The newest shower set is very nice and seems made well but the radius of the handle is having a strange and non-favored linearity. The cartage is set on full hot but the handle sweep is not the best way of controlling the water temperature. You can move the handle a good 90% toward hot and basically no temperature change as it very hard to find a good temperature. The 10% of the handle movement left to move is either too hot or cools to fast. I moved cartilage setting back a bit but now it’s not hot enough. It is almost impossible to find the good linear setting for the handle movement. Why bother to have the handle move so much before any real temp change is evident. Needs to be designed to be a smooth transition of temperature or a very linear sweep.

Does the Delta Chrome Model #134900-A either come with or is compatible with the 1700 series cartridge?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor 134900-A Tub and Shower Faucet is not compatible with the RP32104 Valve Cartridge Assembly from the Delta 1700 Series. The cartridge assembly for the unit is RP46074.

What is the flow rate of the tub faucet?

We installed the 134900-A and we are ha omg trouble with the water getting hot in that shower. The handle only turns 45 degrees but looks like it should go further.

i have a 134900-a shower mixer.when i turn on the faucit all the way on hot it is mixing cold water in. Is there an adjustment?
Thank you for your question, Dawn! This model has a rotational limit stop that adjusts to allow hotter or colder water into the mixing valve. Is a chrome sleeve available (RP39407) that would be 3/4" to 1" longer? The plumber was mistakenly told that 1/2" drywall would be behind the surround. Sleeve doesn't fit into the escutcheon plate with spacer. Without spacer, plastic by handle shows.
Thank you for your question, Jim44! The RP39407 sleeve used on this model is 3" long. The RP22735 trim sleeve is 3 1/2" long and will work in place of the included trim sleeve. The only other option would be to include a 14 series extension kit, part number RP77991.

How do you remover the bonnet (page 4)

Thank you for your question. To remove the bonnet assembly fro the Delta Monitor 134900-A Tub and Shower Faucet, first turn the water off at the shut off valve. Remove the set screw with a 1/8" Allen wrench to remove the handle assembly. Remove the sleeve assembly and unscrew the bonnet nut counterclockwise from the valve body.
