Monitor® pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ± 3.6⁰ F (± 2.0⁰ C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
- Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Fast Massage spray, Full Spray with Massage, High Efficiency Spray
- Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
- Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
- Complete unit includes trim and MultiChoice® Universal Valve with rough-in
- ADA Compliant
- WaterSense® labeled shower heads use at least 20% less water than the industry standard without compromising performance
- Back-to-back installation capability

Terrible installation instructions
We purchased this tub/shower set for a complete renovation. Home Depot said this was the set to use. Instructions do NOT cover enough steps to complete an installation. No mention of dimensions for holes for the control unit, tub spout, or shower spout. I was told at Home Depot I would not need a wall on the drain end of tub, everything kng would line up fine. Not so! I was told there was an installation video at "deltafaucet.com/video." Not so! I was told the instructions are in layman's terms. Not so!
If I ever get this installed I sincerely hope it works better than I am now expecting!

Great Faucet.
No problem with instilation. I think the instructions was more for a professional than a home owner and had to read several
times to understand. I was a builder for 30 years and that helped. We got through it and all is fine.

I have a new Delta Faucet Model 134900-A. Should the faucet handle rotate 90 degrees or 180 degrees, that is, from hot to cold or from cold to hot? The contractor installed my new faucet and it only rotates 90 degrees to the right.

Add a model 134900 -a Installed and have great pressure at the spout but low pressure at the shower head

Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about 134900-A! Low flow is normally caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend flushing the shower unit. I have included a link below to our Help Center with flushing instructions. Also, it's recommended to soak the shower head in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water.

Is the spout in this set isp threaded or slip on? And if it i isp, does this kit come with the adaptor to attach to a 1/2" copper stub out? I can't find any information anywhere about the installation of the spout. Thanks

Our Delta Faucet Monitor(R) 13 Series Tub And Shower Complete Rough And Trim In Chrome MODEL#: 134900-A tub spout includes a brass adapter RP12072, and connect it to the bottom outlet using a new piece of 1/2” threaded pipe installed so that end of nipple projects out from wall surface 5/8” to 1-5/8”.

I have a plastic shower and tub combo. Can I just swap the existing faucet and shower head with this product without tearing the surround out?

I have a 134900-A kit installed. In the 4 months I've had it, the valve cartridge has failed twice. The rubber seals and springs in the hot water side are warping and allowing hot water to fully flow when the valve should be off. How can I prevent this?

Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about 134900-A! I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. There are a lot of factors that can cause the seals to wear down on the cartridge. We do recommend the hot water heater to be set at 120 or lower, if the water is too hot it could cause damage to the internal parts.
