14 Series Shower Trim with In2ition® in Spotshield Brushed Nickel
Model#:

PRODUCT FEATURES
The fluid lines of the Arvo™ Bath Collection bring a delicate, serene look to the bath. The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. This integrated dual-functionality gives you maximum flexibility without sacrificing warmth, as you can choose to have water streaming from the shower head only, the hand shower only or both the shower head and hand shower at once. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.
- The In2ition® Two-in-One Shower gets water where you need it most using the integrated shower head and hand shower separately or together
- Perfect for bathing loved ones and pets as well as keeping the inside of your shower and tub clean
- Spray settings include Full Body spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massage spray, and Pause
- SpotShield™ Technology helps your product stay cleaner, longer by resisting water spots and fingerprints

- Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
- Complete unit includes trim and MultiChoice® Universal Valve with rough-in
- ADA Compliant
- WaterSense® labeled shower heads use at least 20% less water than the industry standard without compromising performance

Looks nice, but low water output
The Delta Arvo 14 Series Shower looks really nice, but we have had problems with the water pressure/water output of the shower head. I like to have a strong stream of water from my shower, but this one feels more like a rain shower head. The quality is pretty decent and it wasn't terrible to install, but overall not my favorite shower head.

This was super easy to install, has great water pressure, it is very durable. We love the design with the removable faucet. It makes it super easy to clean the shower.

Love the look of it!
I love the look of this shower head. My hisband installs all the house things, so he’s experienced and he said this was a bit of a challenge to install.
As for the look of it, I like how it looks very fancy with the brushed metal. I love how you can take off the hand shower part, easy when you have little ones to shower.
The only complaint I have is that the pressure is lower with this head.

Very Convenient!
I installed my Delta shower trim in my shower myself. The directions are easy to follow. It is so convenient I’m not sure how I went without a long cord for so long. I like being able to adjust the water pressure. Delta always makes quality products!

Gorgeous quality
I was excited to try this set. The showerhead on a hose is the way to go for versatility. The box I was sent had everything very well protected inside. It did not come with the thread wrap tape some direction say that you don’t need that if you have a washer, however these directions from Delta say you do need it, but it was not included. The directions were minimal so if you’ve never done this particular job before you might need to look at some of their online videos for extra assistance. I didn’t run into any problems at all during the installation of the entire set. Everything feels like high-quality pieces and it looks really nice. The style is so sleek and elegant. It appears that it will be easy to clean as there aren’t a bunch of seams and grooves to collect minerals and soap scum. I plan to add an extension neck to the setup to get it up higher for my tall family. My only complaint is that the water pressure doesn’t come out of these heads very hard which I know isn’t my water pressure because the Delta showerhead I removed had excellent high pressure. Very pleased overall. I wasn’t able to add more than one video.

Beautifully Designed
This is a very nice fixture. The design is sleek and modern. It looks great and works great also. The only thing we don't like is it doesn't match our silver sink fixtures so those get changed next.

Love the cord and color!
This product came really fast! It was packaged really well too. I love the color and how sturdy it feels. I am excited to put it in the shower. We have a delta in there now and have been impressed with the delta faucets so I just know we will love this! I already love that it has a wire to take the head down so I can use it when I clean the shower!

Enjoy the shower more with the Delta Arvo 14 serie
The Delta Arvo 14 Series Shower Trim with In2ition is absolutely beautiful and will look gorgeous in my remodeled bathroom once I am finished. The set is all matte black, it has a very sleek and modern look about it but there are multiple color options to fit any authentic. A beautiful upgrade to any outdated bathroom.
The shower head detatches off of the main shower head and you get water coming from both places, a fixed shower head and a detatchable piece with 4 settings! Finally my body can stay warm while im getting a deep clean massage on my scalp from one of the 4 different settings the detachable shower head offers. Delta In2Ition technology combines easy wipe off rubber ones holes on the showerhead so you dont have to worry about nasty build up like the traditional plastic or metal shower heads.
For the ones who shave in the shower this set comes with a valve that reduces the water to a trickle so you dont have to sacrifice water OR warmth, also great for saving money AND helps with water conservation.
The Delta Arvo 14 series set I recieved comes with everything one would need to install this into your shower/bath.
I was given this Delta Arvo 14 Series in matte black for my honest review.

No pressure control
The shower head is nice with good functionality. The handle doesn't control water pressure - I've never in my life used one that didn't, so this was an unpleasant surprise. The water pressure is very low, with no option to control it.

Major problems with this showerhead
1) There was a significant leak in the seam between the outer ring and the base. 2) The rotation of the mixer handle was very narrow making it difficult to land on a comfortable temperature - had to make very small moves to change the temperature comfortable. 3) the width of the spray is only about 12"; very narrow spray (don't really. need a shower curtain or glass wall to prevent splash to the bathroom), and the stream is somewhat weak (not much more than the rain showerheads) making it difficult to enjoy a relaxing shower. Kudos to Delta for sending me a replacement showerhead to resolve the leak and a new cartridge to make the temperature change more realistic - but I had to do the replacing. No resolution to the narrow spray, as it is the design.

Great design style, poor water flow
I love the design and the fact that the kit includes the valve. The only problem is water flow. I found a video on youtube that shows you how to remove the inner component that restricts water flow. While it didn't increase the flow/pressure like the other faucets in my home, remove did improve the trickle effect. The initial flow was so bad that I could not use the dual showerhead function because the water trickled out. Delta should upgrade this.

Annoying design with little flow
This is a difficult shower head to operate. The handheld wand does not go back in the cradle easily. In addition, the fittings are so tight you cannot easily move the overall position and the wall stem adjusts when it shouldn’t. Yes, we had a professional install it. I would run away. I may pull it out and return.

No instructions on how to use
It's beautiful but I can't actually use it because there are no instructions on how to. Plenty of how to install instructions but nothing on how to switch modes or adjusting flow. I like a really low flow shower. There are lot of levers but no simple how to use instructions. I don't care to stand in my shower and just figure it out with or without clothes. That is phase 2 of using it.

Like Showering In A Light Drizzle
Although this unit is attractive and of solid construction, the water flow was very disappointing. My previous shower head, which is 10 years old, provided superior water flow and coverage. I will likely be replacing this soon as it simply isn't getting the job done.

Not enough water flow
I have found this brand new shower head undesirable because of the extremely low flow of water. If there is a way to achieve more flow from this unit i would like to know. I have given it to a family member to try and they have come up with the same conclusion. Unless i can achieve more flow from this unit i have wasted my money.

Looks Great
I really love using my shower now. The black color adds to the overall look of my bathroom. Installing this seemed complicated to me but my husband got it done. I like the different spray settings and using the handheld showerhead makes cleaning my dogs easier too. The handheld showerhead also snaps right back into place without any trouble. I thought I wouldn't have a lot of water pressure but that turn out not to be a problem. I'm very happy with this wall-mounted showerhead.

Delta DELTA 142840-SP-I Arvo shower. The water comes out the stationary part but not out of the handheld part. I have been unable to find out how this adjustment is supposed to work. Can you please assist me?
Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help you.
On the right side of the showerhead is a diverter knob (not shown in photos). It has three positions. When you turn it, the water flow will come from either the hand shower, showerhead, or both at the same time.

Just had Arvo series 14 shower installed and I can’t adjust where the shower sprays. Does this have the ability to move the head unit right or left? If so, how do I do that? Your manual is silent on this. Never had a shower head that would not move.
Hello,
Thank you for your question!
The showerhead can be rotated up/down and left or right as a ball connector in the back allows for this. You will want to ensure the showerhead is not overtightened to the shower arm.
Please reach out with further questions!

Our water pressure seems to be less
Hi Valued Customer,
Thank you for contacting us back, I have included the flushing instructions below.
To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below.
1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle.
2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve.
3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks.
4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out.
5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body.
6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds.
7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced.
Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer.
