The single-handle design makes temperature adjustment easy, while the Monitor Scald-Guard valve helps maintain a constant temperature so you and your family can enjoy safe and comfortable showers every day. This environmentally friendly design is also WaterSense certified to reduce water waste, making it an efficient and responsible choice for your home.
  • Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massaging spray

The water pressure is good and there are different settings on the shower head as well. If you're able to snag a recertified version, I'd highly recommend it. Great value for a great product.

Read the instructions and watched a video for the easy install and to make sure we got the water temp just right. (that make sure to watch or your water will be luke warm to cold) Handle is easy to manuever, shower head does pivot / move with the addition of multiple spray options.

I've been wanting to exchange my shower head which was original to the home at the time of purchase. The water pressure is just right - it almost puts me in the experience of being at a spa. Installation was a breeze thanks to the East to follow instructions. I would definitely recommend this Delta shower kit and plan to replace my second bath with the same product.

Will this work with old 1300/1400 valve?  I have one of those but need nickel trim.  Thanks.

i have install new bath shower why no hot water coming?

Our current shower has the RP 19084 shower cartridge/valve. 20+yrs old. Will this shower valve kit work with it?

Is this compatible with the 1314multichoice valve

Our Delta Faucet PORTER® Porter® Monitor 14 Series Shower (Recertified) In Brushed Nickel MODEL#: 142984C-BN-A-R will work with our Post 2006 rough valve which is universal. If the rough valve was installed pre-2006 as long as the old trim was 1400 as well as it would fit, unfortunately, the new cartridge will not fit. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. I have a Delta Monitor 1400 shower.  Can I use this to replace the shower handle and shower head without having to go into the wall and change the shower valve?

Our Delta Faucet 1400 shower pre 2006 can be updated to the newer trim 142984C-BN-A-R, but the new cartridge will not fit the old valve.
