Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Porter shower unit I am very pleased with my new Delta shower unit. I love the three spray setting and the easy turn the handle for the hot and cold water. Right now I only have a ball to adjust my hot and cold water and it is hard to turn when you have soap on your hands. I will enjoy this unit in my walk-in shower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice shower head I am very happy with the Delta Shower Head. It took me a while to get it put in. I wanted to do it myself so it took a little time! Once I finally got it in, I was very happy at how nice it looked in my shower. Then I turned it on and I love the water flow. It comes out perfectly! The shower head is big enough that it doesn’t leave part of your body without water and cold. I would definitely recommend this shower head!

Q&A

California has a warning on the Delta Porter series of shower heads, faucets, and handles. Does the Delta Porter series contain lead that could be a concern when bathing or showering?

Asked by: Elle
Hello! The warning label is placed on the packaging for select Delta Faucet Company products to comply with requirements of the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as “Proposition 65.” Many products sold in California are required by law to carry the label. This warning does not mean that a product is unsafe. The label on the packaging is there to give the buyer/consumer awareness before purchasing that they could be exposed to chemicals that are on the Prop 65 List of Chemicals. Although a product may contain one or more listed chemicals, all Delta Faucet Company products meet or exceed the requirements of applicable product performance and safety industry standards, as well as the federal Safe Water Drinking Act. Does the shower pivot to change the angle?  It hasn’t been installed yet, but it doesn’t appear to have a ball to adjust the head.  142984C-BN-A.

Asked by: Carol
Hi Carol, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 142984C-BN-A-R. Yes, the included showerhead pivots to adjust the angle. If it is tight, it should loosen with use. I recommend putting the showerhead on the shower arm to more easily pivot. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
