Does the faucet fit over a brass adapter,? I have one on my pipe already from a pull down delta diverter spout. Also is this compatible with the 13/14 valve? If not could you recommend trims, trying to do less plumbing. Thank you

Yes, you can use our current 14-series tub/shower trims with our older 14-series tub/shower trims. Please note, the cartridge included with our new trim kits are not compatible with the older valves.
The tub spout included with our 144840-BL-I-R is RP101696BL and it uses our tri-universal adapter. This adapter allows a thread 1/2" inch NPT, 1/2" inch copper sweat, or a 1/2" slip-on connection. For more information regarding the RP101696BL tub spout adapter, please refer to the link below.

My bathroom was built in 1980, now I want to do cosmetic upgrades. I have delta US Patent # 3056418 now. Will that shower and trim kit work for me without changing internal parts/valves?

On the spec diagram it doesn't show the tub plug. Am I to assume there isn't one? How do you plug the tub to use without a plug? Are they sold separately?
