I’ve read on other sites that offer this product that the tub spout is mostly plastic? I need a product that will stand the test of time and use as I take multiple baths a day.

We have a Delta shower/tub faucet. Plumber says diverter is worn out. Can we get a new diverted or would we be better off to get this recertified unit?
