does the shower head move so you can adjust it according to the height of the person showering?

Does this need a cartridge? I see it comes with the rough in as well as the tub spout, the on off temp lever and the 2 in one shower head and hand held part right? Do I need anything else for installation that does not come with it?

How does the faucet change from shower to tub? need to determine if my child can reach it or not.
