Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tub Diverter spout I bought the diverter spout and found my plumber said it would not work and he purchased the correct one that would fit. I called Delta and asked policy and was told to email photos of the box and unit to show in perfect condition. I did. I called repeatedly for two weeks and checked emails for a response. I called yesterday and was told the email was sent the day prior and if you don't see it look in your spam. I did find it and asked what is the policy and the young lady had to share the verbiage which I said you don't need to do that I just need to know, at this point I was very annoyed, she put me on hold as she didn't like my annoyance and I was angry at this point not getting answers and I've been waiting over two weeks. I read the email and now I had to send a letter explaining why I was returning which I said over two weeks ago in my first call. I threw the unit away and will never utilize this company again. The CSR said add the packing slip, there was no packing slip...I had the original envelope, box and unit all in perfect condition. Customer Service is awful and transparency of this firm is awful

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing Oring and poor fit I bought and installed 2 of these mixers and one had a missing o ring on the carriage that I had to go and buy and one of the 2 carriage assemblies were super tight and I had to file a burr off of an outer ring costing me time.

My home was built in 2005, it has a chrome single function tub/shower kit installed. Chrome trim says Delta Monitor. Will this kit kit fit without changing the rough in valve?

Thanks Tim, however the catridge is so corroded i will need to cut the handle off. Why cant i use the cartridge that comes with trim kit?

Can use this to retrofit a shower installed in 1993 without replacing the valve in wall?

Hello Manuel, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta Faucet 144984C-BN-A-R trim kit can be paired with a 1300/1400 series valve. The included cartridge cannot be used with the valve, but the trim will fit the existing cartridge. Be sure the shower is a Delta 1300/1400 series and the escutcheon screws are in the lower left and upper right. Please reach out directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Is this compatible with a 1500 series valve cartridge?

Will this unit interchange with an older Monitor 1400 (including the change out of a leaky cartridge, but leaving in the original valve housing)?

I currently own a temp.assure 20 in nickel. The cartridge is shot and has wires for water temp display. I don't use the display and would like to find something that could work in the current rough unit.The cartridge that fits the existing is EP78407.
