Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tub spout adapter. Bought the Porter shower with tub spout and rough in. When it came, the tub spout adapter assembly was not with it. Called customer service and they said it did not come with it. Seriously? How dare you sell a shower set that is incomplete? They also SAID that I could find the adapter assembly at any big box store. Went to all three. None of them had it and I had to buy a separate faucet so I could take the assembly out of it. Terrible. I will never buy another delta product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Install The Delta Porter tub and shower set is a great addition to my bathroom. The shower head has 3 spray settings and the diameter is 6 1/4". The color and finish were perfect and not too glossy. This set also comes with a 10 year warranty. All the parts are very easy to install. Although I didn't need any help, you can go to their app and get step by step interactive instructions.

Installation was a breeze for anyone who has done it before, if not a YouTube video could easily guide you. The look of the products are great, and they feel sturdy and well made.

I also wanted to upgrade the ones I had before. This shower is super strong and wide range for water to flow. Easy to switch from cold to hot with just one control which is one of the things I really like about it. Very good shower and I recommend.

My home was built in 2005, it has a chrome single function tub/shower kit installed. Chrome trim says Delta Monitor. Will this kit kit fit without changing the rough in valve?

Thanks Tim, however the catridge is so corroded i will need to cut the handle off. Why cant i use the cartridge that comes with trim kit?

Can use this to retrofit a shower installed in 1993 without replacing the valve in wall?

Hello Manuel, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The Delta Faucet 144984C-BN-A-R trim kit can be paired with a 1300/1400 series valve. The included cartridge cannot be used with the valve, but the trim will fit the existing cartridge. Be sure the shower is a Delta 1300/1400 series and the escutcheon screws are in the lower left and upper right. Please reach out directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Is this compatible with a 1500 series valve cartridge?

Will this unit interchange with an older Monitor 1400 (including the change out of a leaky cartridge, but leaving in the original valve housing)?

I currently own a temp.assure 20 in nickel. The cartridge is shot and has wires for water temp display. I don't use the display and would like to find something that could work in the current rough unit.The cartridge that fits the existing is EP78407.
