Appears the item is used....
I received my "new" tub and shower trim package. But when I went to assembly everything, it appeared that it may be used. The inside of the bath spout looks somewhat corroded and rusty as well as the handle. There were no instructions in the box which is another reason I believe this one is used. I haven't completed mounting everything so I don't have anything to say on how well it functions.

Looks great, matches nicely
We recently remodeled our teenage son's bathroom and needed a tub and shower set to match the beautiful new Pfister GT42-YP0 Ashfield Waterfall Bathroom Faucet in Brushed Nickel that we'd purchased. The faucet had received great reviews on several sites, but the matching tub/shower set had not, so we decided to look for a similar set that received better reviews, and this one was perfect. The slight curve of the tub faucet lever looks a lot like the curve of the sink faucet handle, and the shades of brushed nickel on both match nicely, especially since they're not side by side anyway. They look and work well together.

I am very disappointed in the water flow of the shower head. It's a very light shower. If you like a lot of pressure, this is not the showerhead for you.

Mine is leaking/drip drip. What is the Model number for the piece/valve (whatever it is called) to replace the inside.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 144996C-OB.
A leak or drip is typically caused by wear or damage to the rubber seats RP4993 in the legs of the cartridge. Also, check the condition of the lower RP14414 o-rings on the legs. Or the RP46074 cartridge can be replaced.

can i change the spout out for a hand held spray noozle? we are remodling out bather room and have a stand up shower only with no tub, but we would like an extra spray noozle.

SO others have asked about how the tub spout mounts on a model 144996C-OB Tub Faucet (Windemere) but no where is it said what the dimension the pipe needs to protrude from the finished wall Including the instructions in the box Please provide pipe length

trying to replace a Delta Monitor (1400) shower faucet plate and handle - currently have 20 year old system that needs replacement. I have a new cartridge coming from Delta but I cannot remove the shower handle due to age I believe.

The Delta Monitor® 14 Series Tub And Shower handle can be removed by removing the set screw from it. Please refer to pages 11 and 12 of the maintenance and installation guide. I have attached the link below.

We bought our home in 2019. We have 3 full baths. Our master bath is working and looking flawlessly. Our other 2 full baths are a different story. Both chrome shower diverters. spouts, and shower head pieces are all pitted and dull. HELP

I live in area with VERY hard water. I have a Delta Monitor® 14 Series Tub And Shower In Oil Rubbed Bronze MODEL#: 144996C-OB, how do I clean the lime scale buildup on the inside of the shower head? I've got water going in all different directions...

Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet 144996C-OB.
Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
· Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid bleach-based cleaners.
· Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
· Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.

The Delta RP61357OB Tub Spout Assembly threads directly onto a 1/2" pipe near the nose. An adapter can not be used and is not included with this Delta Tub Spout.

The included tub spout threads directly onto a 1/2" pipe near the nose. Pipe length between 3 7/8" and 4". It does not use an adapter for installation.
