Why do you need a minimum 2 1/2" clearance between hole in countertop and back splash?

Is the cartridge ceramic? No where on your website or that of Home Depot does it mention materials that this product is made of.

Is it possible ro tighten the neck of the faucet to the base? The hose still goes in and out fine but the next seam down the neck moves side to side.

Do you sell a shorter drain assembly? The drain assembly will not tighten to the sink I am installing it on.

Can the watter supply handle be installed where it is pulled to the front rather than pushed to the back to turn on the water?
