The cap is perfectly flush with the surrounding handle. Nothing will get under it to pry it off like suggested "finger nail", "old butter knife", push pin, and dental tools". I tried them all. I end up supergluing on a piece of metal on the cap and physically pulled it out that way. Now I need to remove the glue. FOLLOW UP QUESTION: how do you remove the bonnet under the handle?

The OB is described as a dark, muted finish with bronze highlights and the RB is described as a low-gloss, deeply warm finish with subdued highlights. Sometimes one line is clogged.  E.g., if the hot is clogged, connect the cold and let it run with a bucket to catch the unconnected hot.  The pressure should clear debris out of the unconnected line (yes even though you’re running the opposite line).
