Nice finish - easy install
I ordered this faucet for our powder room remodel. I also ordered the matching accessories - tissue holder, towel bar, tank handle. They all look great - I love the champagne bronze - not too brassy but a nice brushed gold finish. The installation was straightforward. The handles and faucet spout are attached using large mounting nuts but then individual screws for tightening against a plate. This is a much nicer design than the old large nuts that were flush with the bottom of the countertop. The water connections from the handles to the faucet just snap together - no tools needed. My only complaint is the drain lifter. It took a lot of adjustment for it to sit flat against the faucet. But since this is our powder room, it will barely be used anyway. Overall, this is a nice looking faucet that should last a long time.

Great faucet
This is a nice sleek faucet. It works great and I chose it for its non-fussy appearance. I included photos of the drain lever on the back of the faucet, since I couldn't find any online and wondered what people were talking about. This feature works fine for me. I also chose this model because it needed less distance from the hole to the backsplash (it could be installed in a smaller space).

Q&A
The lift rod for the drain stopper is seated at an angle and away from the faucet when residing in the open (default) position. Should this be flush to back of the faucet spigot? Could you point me to photos with this detail?

Yes, the lift rod finial should be relatively flush against the faucet. If it is not flush you will need to adjust the lift rod and how it connects to the strap and screw under the sink. Please see the following link for photos showing the lift rod finial.

I bought this faucet and I have to turn the handles half way on before the water starts to come out . Is this normal ?

Our Delta Faucet Kayra™ Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet In Matte Black
MODEL#: 3533LF-BLMPU would need to be flushed, debris or blockage could cause the faucet to have lower than normal flow. Please see the step-by-step instructions below.
Page 5 will show you how to remove the handles, please see the installation sheet below for assistance.

Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. Remove handles by turning the handle base counterclockwise, next you will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please take note of how your stem units are installed in the valve. Please lift straight up to pull the stem units out and If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next, place the towel behind the back of the faucet, then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side, flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed.

how far from back of sink should spout hole be drilled in vanity top?

The Kayra 3533LF-BLMPU spout measures 5" from the center of the base to the center of the aerator. It is recommended to install the faucet within distance for the water stream to hit the drain.
