Tale of two Delta lavatory Faucets
1.2 Water flow on this particular faucet was awful; I changed it to the 3537LF-SSMPU. Same item slightly different head on the fixture and it made all the difference.

Its funny how it's HATE the 80s gold hard ware but love a modern champagne bronze fixture! 😍 this is the Vlum widespread faucet by delta. Its pretty, easy to install, lasting quality only reason it only gets 4 stars is water spots. Not bad but not perfect.

Nice touch of elegance
This faucet set is so pretty and luxurious looking. I was only able to attach these photos and not of it installed because the remodeling of my bathroom had been delayed :/ with that being said I can’t speak of the product functionality however I’m so excited and can’t wait to have this beauty displayed in one of my bathrooms . The quality seems top notch and has such a nice finish to it. Wish I could speak more of the final product I just know I won’t be disappointed!

DON'T BUY! Design FLAWS.
Greatly disappointed. Bought new. 2 for master bath. Arrived in OEM box. Paid a plumber to install. Asked how to get the aerators out. He tried and couldn't remove. I tried for almost 2 hours before i was finally able to remove. Replacement aerators are FORTY DOLLARS EACH. Do NOT buy unless you want to pay a plumber (hopefully) replace/clean when the aerator becomes clogged as they all do eventually. Plus there is a removable plate on the bottom of the faucet. WHY? 4 small plastic clips hold it in place. Horrible design that if broken will be difficult to repair/ replace.

I received this product as a promotion in return for my honest feedback. I am going to be complete honest. With “Delta” products you cat go wrong anywhere. They have some of the best durable and many different styles to choose from. The water flow that comes out is amazing. Installation wasn’t that hard, just didn’t have certain things
I needed to install correctly. But she works like a charm.

I removed the hex nut holding the handle. Do I just pull up on the handle to remove the valve or is there some other trick. Velum widespread two handles. Water is leaking around the bottom of the handle. Thank you
Is the Velum Bathroom faucet considered a waterfall faucet? I was surprised to see a relatively slow flow rate.

How do you remove aerator
Again and again Delta replies to "how to remove aerator" question with "use a needle nose plier". What a joke. How exactly, just pull with force until it comes out?? Can you be more specific?

This model does not include a drain assembly with a lift rod. The included drain is a push pop-up.

Horrible water flow from this brand new faucet even with both hot and cold running. It’s unacceptable and we’re very disappointed. How do we fix this? We never have had flow problems in this bathroom sink before.
I just installed this brand new faucet and it barely gave me 2 quarts of water in a minute. There is a little black plastic housing on the water inlet line going into the faucet that attaches to the quick connect fitting. Pop the retaining clip off and then use a paper clip to remove the water restrictor. That solved my issue.

Can the flow restrictor part be removed to increase water pressure?
I have these newly installed in bathroom. When I turn on the water, the water splashes on the drain plug on to me. I tried increasing/decreasing the water pressure but that didn’t help. How to fix this? Have a different kind of aerator for this model?
On this bathroom faucet, how do you close the sink drain?

I’ve had my black Delta bathroom sick and shower faucets for 2 years. The black think coating keeps coming off. Today a big piece came off when just dusting them. I temporarily glued it on but it looks a mess. Should they last a long time?
Is there any type of guarantee for these faucets and drains? They should be longer than 2 years. Especially since one of them, the most damaged one, is rarely used. I sent photos with no response. Please let me know if they will be replaced. Thank you!

Does the velum widespread sink fawcett have an aerator
Hi valued customer,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 3539LF-MPU.
This faucet has a stream straightener RP90441 at the end of the spout. I would not recommend removing the stream straightener unless needed. It is not designed to be easily serviceable and would need to be replaced. Soak the end of the spout in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinse, to help remove any mineral deposits.
To troubleshoot an issue with the flow rate, clean or replace the flow restrictor RP101422 located in the hose connection below the sink.

We purchased a Velum Model 3539LF bathroom faucet set. We were unaware the LF meant low flow. Can I easily remove the "Flow Restrictor" from the faucet stem to allow for full pressure?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 3539LF-MPU.
All manufacturers of faucets are required to put “restrictors” in their products. The flow restrictor can be cleaned or replaced if the flow rate is less than expected. It's located in the hose connection below the sink.
Potential issues of permanently removing the restrictor included: noise, chaotic outlet flow, splashing, and internal damage from debris.
This faucet is WaterSense labeled as using less water, but shouldn't compromise performance. LF indicates lead legislation compliant. All our faucets meet or beat state and federal requirements.
