The faucet mounts on a widespread configuration not a narrow configuration so make sure it is right before you purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Elizabeth715 from A most frustrating experience. While this faucet looks nice, it's been a terrible experience trying to install it today. I should have read all the reviews before purchasing and (almost) installing it. We bought an under-mount sink vanity top. After six hours, two trips out to three hardware stores, we have to admit defeat. It is impossible to make the horizontal rod and plunger/stopper work with our new vanity top. Even our best MacGyver skills along with newly purchased parts could make these short facet features work. Finally gave up and called customer service to see if we could purchase a stopper set that would accommodate our sink (per another reviewer). Of course, Delta customer service is closed now. We have everything siliconed into our new, beautiful vanity top, so I certainly hope Delta is able to provide us with an alternative that works. Another problem was lining up the hot & cold handles with the base, as another reviewer wrote. The instructions don't talk much about this, and ours are somewhat out of alignment even after spending significant time trying to adjust. We now know what style of faucet not to buy.

We are starting to update kitchens and bathrooms in each unit, and moving to the 'square' style. Sorry to say, but the reviews are keeping us from purchasing this faucet even if the price is right because it doesn't to meet Delta's previous standards. Longevity and ease of repair are very important issue, especially for Seniors with rental property - this may be the last time we do this and buying possible problems is definitely not wanter. I hope Delta takes heed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hm67 from Stylish and functional Cut to the chase. It is a nice faucet. Why put the temp jewels on the sides? People look at the top or front. The stopper arm is too short for today's modern deeper sinks. There is no fix for this. Ordered 3 to replace faucets in three bathrooms. One of three faucets would not thread. Not overly diy, instructions sufficient.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Plumberguy from new EZ Anchor mounting is a huge step backward I am a plumber who has been a loyal Delta purchaser and installer for almost 40 years. The new DST widespread lavs that came out a couple years ago are awesome! It was a shock to try and intall an EZ mount faucet and see all the problems with the new system compared to the old, almost perfect, system. I predict that if you don't scrap this ill-conceived EZ system you will lose lots of customers and have huge spike in returns.

Q&A

Are the hot water valve assembly (RP77417) and the cold water valve assembly (RP77416) interchangeable? My cold water valve leaks below the sink. Order shows I’m being sent RP77417. Is that ok?

The difference between them is the RP77417 has the valve, anchor and gasket. Where the RP77416 includes the just valve assembly. I purchased a Delta 3564-MPU-DST with Ez Anchor mounting, but it's missing the spout anchor. How do I go about getting one?

Is the Ashlyn bathroom sink faucet made of solid brass or does it have parts made of other metals or plastic?

Wayfair advertises this as being both mini-widespread and as widespread.  Can it be installed as a mini?

Is the Ashlyn model sold to the big box stores (home depot, lowes, etc), which has the same model # as your website (Model#: 3564-MPU-DST), the exact same configuration/materials as sold to the plumbing supply stores?

Is the 2 1/2 inch recommended clearance to backsplash absolutely necessary? I have 1 3/4 because my bs sits on top of the countertop. Will it work?

Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. We recommend having a 2 1/2" clearance between the center of the installation hole and the backsplash to provide enough room for installation and cleaning. You may be able to install it with less clearance but it is not recommended. Best regards, Jon
