Hi Amy, Thank you for your question. The lift rod connects to a strap that allows you to adjust the height for the horizontal rod. It should be long enough for most sinks, but can be extended easily using an additional strap, RP12516. Hello Valued Customer, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue with the ASHLYN® Widespread Bathroom Faucet MODEL#: 3564-RBMPU-DST. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the fully open middle position, and then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Furthermore, I have included the cleaning instructions below and if the faucet does not seem to get better with the cleaning, please contact us back directly. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward.
