Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly designed Leaking from the spout bottom into the vanity. Poorly designed hot/cold mixing connection consists of 1/8 plastic tubing with quick connect fittings. The tube is leaking inside the spout and might be a relative easy fix but of course this part is not listed as replaceable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returned Had to return it before it was fully installed. One of the nuts was misaligned and would not screw on to the faucet handle and the other handle came apart during installation. Would not recommend. Would not buy again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Handles are getting harder and harder to turn Great looking faucet. We loved this faucet, until about 6 months ago. The cold water started to get harder and harder to turn. It is almost impossible to turn now and the hot side is starting to get harder now too. It has only been installed between two and three years. I assume it is the stem and valve assembly. I have not found a supplier for parts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from installation My review is more about the under sink appearance. We have a pedestal sink and the many black hoses and gadgets under the sink is not pleasant to look at. I actually thought the plumber had gotten random pieces out of his truck to install this. Will need to get something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Same handle issue that others reported I bought this faucet in 2021 and the hot water handle became defective about 2 years later. In reading reviews I now see many customers had the same exact issue - the base turns with the handle. It cannot be fixed. I had to replace it after just three (3!) years and made sure not to buy a Delta replacement. I chose to take time to write this review to save others similar frustration. Stay away from this faucet.

I recently got the chrome, two handle, widespread Portwood faucet. We have a water softener but the faucet still gets water spots. Hot can I safely clean off the water spots and prevent them without drying it every time it's used.

Asked by: Sheila
Hello, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. I have also included a link to our “How to clean your faucet” on our website, please see the link below. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/inspiredliving/how-to-clean-a-faucet Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. I recently purchased the Portwood Widespread Bath Faucet. It worked fine for a while and now the cold water side is squeaking everytime the faucet is turned on and its very annoying. Any ideas of what could be the cause....thanks

Asked by: Dennis
Hello Dennis, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company. I am sorry to hear that your Portwood™ Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet In Chrome MODEL#: 35770LF cold handle is squeaking, which can be very frustrating. I am so glad that you contacted us, so we can get this taken care of for you! The squeaking would be caused by the movement of the stem, we would recommend removing the parts and soaking them in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Next, flushing the faucet would also help remove and debris that could have caused the stem to squeak. Please see the directions to flushing and the parts diagram for a breakdown below. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process, also grab a towel, and a bucket. Follow the next set of instructions, which can also be found on page 5 of the maintenance and installation sheet. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/102257%20Rev%20F.pdf A. Rotate the handle base by about 45 degrees and pull up on the handle to remove. B. Remove screw and connector. C. Loosen nut and washer from below sink until nut and stop can be removed. Removing the nut and stop will disengage the valve shank from the sink. D. Remove the cartridge by turning it counterclockwise with a 17 mm or 11/16" hex socket wrench Next, place the towel behind the back of the handle, then put the bucket over the top of the towel covering the opening in the valve. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side, flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-35770LF%20Rev%20D.pdf Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer.
