we purchase 2 sets of these faucets and the handles no longer work and the whole device rotates now. attempted to remove the top portion of the handle to put some silicone on to help, and now cannot reattach. we now have 2 sinks that are unusable. horrible quality

Sticky handles that pop off the base
I purchased these faucets during our bathroom reno and they looked beautiful. However very soon after (a month or so) the handles began sticking. They would turn with force, not easily, and eventually the force caused them to pop off the base.
I reached out to Delta and they sent me new faucets. I was super happy, I assumed it was a manufacture error. Turns out... its the design. The new handles are now at the same place, not turning, barely turning, and popping off the base. Its truly the worst faucet design I have ever experienced, I'm flummoxed that they are still selling these. Also the inside parts and base are plastic and cheap feeling. My bathroom handles are currently separated and not usable. It is beyond frustrating.

Handle comes off
The product looks great, but the handle came off after less than a year. I have contacted Delta to send another handle, but it has been over two months, and I have still not received a replacement. I am disappointed that this faucet only lasted barely a year.

Beautiful - and an easy install.
When we needed to upgrade our 1/2 bath we chose the Delta Sparrow, Champagne Bronze wide spread faucet to go on our new vanity. It looks great with the new counter and flooring, and installation couldn't have been easier (of course, working under the sink is always a pain), the push-fittings made life so much easier than the old screw-on fittings and bending tubes! There was one small issue, the pop-up closure in the sink had a blemish in the finish (that I knew would get bigger with time), so I called Delta customer support, waited online about one minute, and had a replacement on the way within five minutes! GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT and a beautiful new faucet!

Great look with one issue
Really nice faucet upgrade. Easy installation and shines up nicely with stainless steel cleaner (and repels water stains for a bit). Our only issue is one of the faucet handles (above sink) is difficult to align with the other handle. When we turn on the hot water, both the handle and the base that sits above the counter turns. Can't quite figure out how to get the base tight enough to keep that from rotating also.

Bought this for lowes after 8 weeks the right handle locked up lowes will not replace after 30 days. I have emailed delta and have not gotten a reply for them.

2 star on looks and 80% of install process
Bought product at Lowes. Checked the box of whats included and what may be needed. I see supply lines are not included. Fine. Box states 1/2" supply line needed. Buy supply lines. Install Faucet and handles. Go to connect supply lines, and nothing fits. You do not find out you need Ball nose connection until you get to that step. AGAIN, box states 1/2" supply lines and picture of needed supply appear to be standard supply lines. Go back to Lowes with install instructions. Even plumbing specialist is confused. Pictures in manual do not match actual description on supply line fitting. Therefore, I am unable to finish install because Lowes does not carry parts needed in store. Water connection part of handle has black gasket covering and is shaped like a half circle. DIrections do not state to remove covering, so I left it. What appeared to be a very easy process turned into headache.

Love the faucet!!

I think the black matte is beautiful!
I've been wanting a black faucet this one's beautiful. I think black with a matte finish makes a bold statement and will upgrade even an old vanity. I'm ecstatic with it's appearance it added style changing my outdated powder room to an upgraded one. It's sleek smooth lines make it easy to clean leaving no water marks. The handles easily glide off and on I love the large stopper. The faucet is the 1rst thing I see walking in and all I see walking out. I wish I had this sooner it changed the look of my powder room for the better!

I love the look of the Delta Sparrow bathroom faucet! We are renovating our entire house and the bathroom needed a lot of help! My old faucet was gold and very old so it was time for an upgrade. This faucet looks and works great! The install was quick and easy!

Happy with our faucet upgrade
We completely remodeled our bathroom a couple years ago, and have been completely unhappy with our current faucet. Nice and sleek
We were looking to upgrade a current faucet and this sparrow model was just perfect. The finish of the metal went nicely with all kinds of decor and made adding it easy. Installation was easy ( I have installed a few before) and it sat nicely on the bowl and added a sleek look. Definitely glad this faucet worked so seamlessly.

Beautiful design
This faucet is a beautiful design with a matte black finish. The faucet would work well with just about any bathroom decor. The installation was fairly simple and the directions were easy to follow. The handles for the hot and cold water are easy to turn and will fit any size hand, from children to adult. The WaterSense ability uses less water without sacrificing performance of the flow of water.

I have two Delta Sparrow (35832LF-BL) faucets in my bathrooms. On one the water comes shooting out in all directions. I removed the aerator and cleaned it, but it did not fix the problem. I have searched everywhere but I am unable to find a replacement.

HOW TO TAKE CARTRIDGE OUT OF DELTA BATHROOM SINK

Thank you for your question!
Before beginning please ensure the water at the shut-off valves under the sink have been closed. Next, to remove the handles you will press downward firmly on the handles while turning the base counterclockwise. Once removed you will then unthread the bonnet nut counterclockwise to gain access to the stem unit and seats and springs (repair kit RP101504). Please see the following parts diagram to further assist.

I have a Delta Sparrow (Model# 35832LF-BL) One handle is very stiff and difficult to turn. I see there is a Philips screw inside, however it turns freely in both directions and does not affect the handle's ability to turn. Can this be adjusted?

We recommend cleaning Delta Faucet products with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water.
If additional cleaning is required the following products are safe to use on all Delta Faucet finishes, when used according to the manufacturers’ instructions for use:
Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner
Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner
Windex® Original Glass Cleaner
Other gentle all-purpose or multi-surface cleaners may also be used. Please do not use anything labeled “all-purpose bathroom cleaner".

I had 3 sets of Model # 35832FL-BL installed in my home. I have one handle (right side faucet) that is binding up very tight and is unusable. I cannot release the binding, and I need a faucet handle replacement. Can I order a handle replacement?

For a tight handle, I recommend the RP101504 repair kit to replace the stem, seat, and spring. A set of replacement handles is also available as RP103565BL.

We have replaced the faucet twice as the cold water handle gets frozen tight and when turned, shifts the entire handle base. We are now about to replace once again. Please advise as it is just the one handle needed.
