Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible design, completely unfair resolution Purchased this faucet as part of a bathroom renovation and had it professionally installed. Soon after, the handles began loosening and popping off, and were impossible to turn. Our contractor returned to resecure them, but the same issue came back. After researching, I found many other reviews on Delta's own website describing the same problem: handles binding, rotating, loosening, and eventually popping off. That made me concerned this was not an isolated faucet. In my experience, the handle attachment design is the weak point. Because the handles do not use a traditional set screw or other positive mechanical fastener, they become loose over time. Even a plumbing associate at my local hardware store commented that the attachment method was a weak design. After weeks of back and forth, Delta's solution was to send replacement parts and ultimately the same faucet. I have not installed either replacement because doing so would require paying for professional installation again on the exact same model-- a design I no longer have confidence in. I requested a completely different model with a different handle attachment design due to the repeated failures and similar reports from other owners, but Delta declined because the warranty only covers the original model and instead offered a 50% discount on a different faucet. Even with the discount, I would still have to purchase another faucet and pay hundreds more for professional installation after already paying to install a faucet that began failing shortly after installation. I don't think customers should have to absorb those costs when a product fails this early. I lost confidence in both the product and Delta's resolution. The faucet looks great, but based on my experience and the similar reports from other owners, please do not choose this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product broke after 6 months Purchased this faucet form Lowes, installation was relatively straightforward, however after 6 months the hot water faucet handle became difficult to turn. I removed the handle and attempted to clean it thinking debris had gotten into the mechanism. This was to no avail in addition to trying some lubrication. Tried to get a replacement part also without success (local plumbing supply doesn't carry parts for Lowe's purchased delta products-even though the Delta website referred me to them-Lowe's was also unable to get part.) Essentially I will now have to buy an entire new faucet. This part should not have failed so quickly. Can this part be purchased? Handle assembly RP103565

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Garbage. Do not buy. We purchased two of these for a bathroom less than a year ago, and the handles are binding and popping off on both units. Completely flawed design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Handle binding and popping off Same problem that others have posted here. The handle binds after limited use. Ours did it after just a few months and there doesn’t seem to be a way to remedy it as the screw inside won’t turn to loosen the handle from body. Just the cold side is broken now but I can hear the hot side starting to bind and make noise before it eventually pops off too

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Binding faucet handle Handle on faucet binds up and is very hard to turn on/off the water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Binding on/off handle The on/off handle on these faucets has a tendency to turn very hard causing problems with the mount on the sink surface. Mine (3 sets) have 2 sticking / binding handles now. These faucets were professionally installed less than 2 years ago.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Handles stick and pop off Same issue as everyone else with the handles. Had to buy a new faucet from Lowe's on my lunch break. It was the weekend, and Delta customer service was already closed (west coast here) when I finished work that Saturday, but I needed an immediate remedy because we only have 1 bathroom. Today, I called Delta and reviewed the warranty, which covers parts, got it. Based on reviews here where folks had the entire faucet replaced, I was hoping they would reimburse me for one of the faucets since I purchased the first in August 2025 and the second in January 2026. Nope, only the cartridge/specific part. Well, too late. Not reinstalling the old faucet just to replace the cartridge, which sounds like a temporary fix, based on other reviews. I am approaching the Lowe's 30-day return window for used products, so I'd likely have two faucets anyhow. Guess when the handles get stuck again, I'll buy from a different brand. I suppose the minor consolation is that I did not pay Lowe's the Delta website list price (currently $292) either time, but it means another Saturday shift when I eventually have to replace the replacement. I suppose I should have taken the broken faucet to Lowe's to try to exchange it since it couldn't be used until I installed the new one on Sunday, but it was past the 90-day return window. That will teach me to read reviews on the manufacturer's website as well as the seller's reviews. Thanks, Delta!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful Marketing Pictures, Horrible Finish IRL These Champagne-Bronze finish faucets look nice and pretty in the marketing photos, however in real life in our experience, they do not look that way. Installed these roughly a month ago. Each time they are exposed to water we see water spots left on the finish, leaving them looking dirty - so basically they always look spotty. The product marketing materials do not mention this, or at least what Delta support searched for me did not mention this. I spoke with Delta support and they told me to use a certain procedure to clean them...basically suggesting we clean them after each use. They also said that this was not covered by the warranty. These were not inexpensive faucets. Recommend avoiding (at least this finish) if you care about how these look on a daily basis.

HOW TO TAKE CARTRIDGE OUT OF DELTA BATHROOM SINK

Asked by: KARL
Hello, Thank you for your question! Before beginning please ensure the water at the shut-off valves under the sink have been closed. Next, to remove the handles you will press downward firmly on the handles while turning the base counterclockwise. Once removed you will then unthread the bonnet nut counterclockwise to gain access to the stem unit and seats and springs (repair kit RP101504). Please see the following parts diagram to further assist. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-35832LF.pdf Please reach out with further questions! I have a Delta Sparrow (Model# 35832LF-BL) One handle is very stiff and difficult to turn. I see there is a Philips screw inside, however it turns freely in both directions and does not affect the handle's ability to turn. Can this be adjusted?

I have two Delta Sparrow (35832LF-BL) faucets in my bathrooms. On one the water comes shooting out in all directions. I removed the aerator and cleaned it, but it did not fix the problem. I have searched everywhere but I am unable to find a replacement.

How do you tighten the base of the handle? The cold water side sits tightly against the countertop. When I turn on the hot water side, however, both the handle and the base turn and I cannot get it aligned with the cold water side

Asked by: minadee
Hi minadee, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 35832LF-CZ. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with the handle. We are happy to help! If the handle base turns when tightening the handle, I recommend retightening the mounting hardware under the sink. The handle mounting nut has two screws. Loosen the screws, align the handle, and hand-tighten the nut flat against the washer. Then tighten the screws to lock it into position. If there is a slippery surface under the sink, fold a piece of plumbers cloth or emery cloth so that the grit is facing out on both sides. Loosen the mounting bracket and insert the cloth between the bracket and countertop. This provides a rough surface for the bracket to grab. Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
