This faucet does include non-metallic parts. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used in this model. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Purchased 2 sets of 35840LF-SP. The problem I have is one of the drains does not hold water, it allows the sink to drain. I swapped Push Pop Up between the sinks and problem did not move. Thoughts?

The description on this faucet states it requires minimum 2-1/2 in. Clearance to backsplash.  The faucets I want to replace were installed with <.5” clearance. Why is the 2-1/2” needed and can this faucet be installed on a sink with so little clearance?

Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. Regarding the Arvo Widespread bathroom faucet. I am about to install this faucet in my summer home that gets winterized in the fall. It looks like water will collect in the mixing tubing and just curious if this will freeze in the winter.

The best practice for winterizing a faucet is to remove valving (stem units and seats & springs in this specific case) and disconnect the tubing and hoses.
