Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality issue I have delta 35899LF-SP but I am so disappointed with this faucet bcoz it start giving me problems in just a year or so 1. First the stem is getting hard turn. 2. I am very shocked when the spout pipe itself is busted , never ever had this issue with other faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective; return is made difficult I paid $15.99 shipping for 2 sets of recertified Pierce faucets to be delivered on time for my project. When arrived, one was broken and not usable. I had to buy one for my project in local store. After contacting the company to return the defective one, Delta sent me a replacement faucet. I called back immediately to say I never ordered or requested a replacement. I clearly stated to return the original as my project has completed and my return has been sent out. A supervisor said he has cancelled it; two days later, I received a shipping notice for this replacement coming my way. Now Delta asked me to return the replacement order when it's delivered. I am frustrated that they tried to push through a sale instead of honoring their return policy. This is the most difficult return I've ever experienced and still unsettled. Their return policy has ambiguous language for their interpretation. My advice: be careful to order from their website. Even if you buy new products, if any problem, you may end up in a difficult situation. You will not save enough to offset the time and energy spent working out any issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Handles are unusable I have 5 of these sinks in my house and the handles all have different problems. All were installed by a professional plumber. Some are too tight, some are too loose and one is completely broken. Trying to take the handles apart to fix them is an exercise in futility. I finally got the broken one off and it is completely unusable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They drip! The faucet drips and I can find no way to get the handles off to replace the defective parts. I bought two faucets and had them installed by a plumber arranged by the Home Depot. One is fine the other drips from both the hot and cold sides.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Newly installed faucet drips from the spout At a cost of nearly $600 I bought two of these faucets for a double sink vanity. Within a few days one of them began to drip. I called Customer Service and they promptly sent two replacement stems but no instructions on how to get the handles off and do the replacement. I am 81 years old and not a plumber which is why I paid $318 for Home Depot to have a plumber install them. The drip is not covered by the plumber's one year installation warranty because it is a defective product issue. I told my wife she has to live with the drip (not me, the faucet) since it is her sink. So much for "happy wife happy life".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it till it didn’t work I bought this about a year ago. Super easy to install and looked so great. About a month ago the hot side level was so tight to turn. It got so bad that I decided to take apart again to look at it. Trying to fix it but there is jo way to take apart to see if just a worn ring or something… but seriously nothing should have gone bad for having got it not that long ago. Trying to get replacement parts. Will revise my post depending on how well that goes.

How do I increase water flow?

on model number 35899LF is ther a washer / gasket kit for the cold and hot on off handles

cold water turn off handle drips , is there replaceable washers or gaskets for them ? Is it it a kit you can purchase ?

what tool is needed to remove the diffuser in the faucet? It appears to be partially plugged and I need to clean it.

why is minimum distance from backsplash 2.5"?  is that to accommodate turning the levers.  we only have 2" from center of hole to backsplash.  thanks

What size aerator does this faucet take and can I get a higher gpm one for it? The water flow is abysmal.

Hi michael, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 35899LF. The RP84385-1.2 aerator has a thread size of 13/16"-27. Unfortunately, we don't carry an aerator with a higher flow rate. I bought the Pierce 35899lf-sp. It looks like it doesnt come apart for replacing the parts, does it? There isnt any set screw to take the handle off and i cant unscrew the top part from the brass part. thanks Dan
