PRODUCT FEATURES
Your new grab bar coordinates with many Delta branded fixtures and competitive bath suites while offering an attractive safety feature in the bath. The wall anchor included with this grab bar provides a secure mount and, when properly installed, supports up to 500 pounds of force. That's twice the ADA requirement. Mounting on wood blocking behind all wall surfaces is preferable for additional security.

Decorative Grab Bar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the style of the grab bar! It is complimentary to all of the other bath faucets and towel bars so it doesn't appear as institutional as other grab bars can appear! And, it serves it's surpose of providing safe entrance and exit to the shower.

great choice for an upscale look
These brab bars are really terrific! They coordinate really nicely with other bath accessories in Delta's line and certainly there's no hint of "handicapped" hardware. But they work well when you need them to. They install easily too.

Holds water
Like all of my Victorian faucets/shower heads etc, this item was installed in Oct 21. It's now April 22 and the finish is coming off. I don't use any chemicals and I wipe it down after each shower. I had a small one installed vertically to be able to grab something while getting in the shower and apparently the thing is holding water inside. I wasted so much money on Delta products. Never again.

Delta 42 inch Grab Bar
My husband has Parkinson’s and I was trying to make his shower as safe as possible. Unable to find this size of shower bar anywhere. Then located it on buil.com and ordered it. Came direct to my house in about 3 days... My husband says it gas been a life saver for him! Thanks a million

Nice upscale grab rail
Most grab rails look basic. I needed something clean and stylish for a modern handicapped bath, this was the right product.

Q&A
Can any of your grab bars be cut to length? It looks like this model has endcaps that can be removed to allow the main bar to be sized. I would rather size the bar to fit existing wall studs than use the optional wall mount. Thank you.
Thank you for your question, CURTIS. Our grab bars are not intended to be cut to fit. This will void the warranty and may prevent it from being able to support the specified weight.

I guess I need to clarify my question. Is the metal composition of the polished chrome grab bar, chrome metal? Or do you take stainless material and polish it? They will be two different colors.
Thank you for your question, Audra! We apologize for any misunderstanding. This bar uses 304 gauge stainless steel. The finish is then applied on top and polished for the Chrome and Polished Nickel versions.

Is this grab bar polished chrome or polished stainless?
