I am installing a 41724 grab bar with blocking behind the Sheetrock to screw into. I’m having trouble lining up the set screw to attach bar to the mounting brackets. They must be turned the slightest bit and the set screws won’t start. Any ideas for me?

Can this grab bar be used in a shower?

I don't see anywhere in Delta's Technical information about the material used in the grab bars. What is the base metal in this grab bar?
