A great, substantial and attractive option for safety grab bars!
We had these installed in our shower. They are very elegant and very substantial. Love that there is a good variety of finishes to match existing features. Purchased for a disabled family member, but find I am using them just as well. Feel very safe with them.

Can this be shortened?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not recommend trimming these so I cannot give you an answer on what to use. If you are pressed on this being trimmed you may do so as long as there are no notches at the end of the bar where the bar inserts into the mounting plate but please keep in mind if this is cut wrong it will void the warranty. I had two Delta 41824 grab bars installed as part of a bathroom remodel. Two of four cover plates will not stay on. Is there a solution? I noticed others had the same problem on Amazon.
