Can you cut the bar to align the supports with the studs?

Thank you for your question, engineer21! Although possible, it is not recommended to cut this bar as doing so will void the warranty and could potentially damage the bar beyond repair. Best regards, Edward

If my wall stud spacing is 16" o.c., what length grab bar should I select to ensure attachment to studs?

Hi, Thank you for your question. I do apologize for any confusion regarding your Delta product. We are happy to help! The stud lay out would need to be set up for the individual grab bar for both ends to connect to a stud. The wall bars are generally for one stud and one non stud connection. Can this bar be installed on shower tile for the purpose of only holding wash cloths?

Are these grab bars intended to be installed inside a tiled shower area. I.E. are they made to be used in a wet area?

We're considering the Delta 12" 41912 SS grab bars for our home. What's the guage and diameter of this product? Also, is it one solid piece? It looks like there's a welding break in the bar?! Is the material made of solid 304 stainless steel?
