Solid grab bars that provide the sense of security you need. Bars are not too wide and easy to grasp. Brushed stainless matches all fixtures in the bathroom and seem to disappear as they don't look like grab bars.

99 percent of grab bars look institutional. Depressing and clunky. But this looks just like a towel bar. I keep towels on mine, but remove the towels when I take my shower.

Delta 41918 18” Grab Bar
This is such a fantastic grab bar! We have both right & left handed people, (of a wide range of ages/heights/
health), in our family, so we decided to place one on both the left & right sides of the entry/exit of all our shower walls Very good decision. They’re so well designed and attractive you don’t at all get the feeling of those old fashioned “old people” handicapped bars. These are great for any age and give an extra safety for the bathrooms. We LOVE these!

Delta 41924 24” Grab Bar
Bought the 18” bars for the bathrooms & the 24” bar to use, (placed at a 45 degree angle), next to the step leading from the garage into the house…LOVE it! Angle placement makes it useful for various age groups (children to the elderly). Feel that difficult to see step is far safer now for everybody.

My shower surround is cultured marble. Can this grab bar be installed if I find the studs?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 41918 grab bar can be installed on a cultured marble. Wood blocking is preferable behind all wall surfaces. If wood blocking is not available, the supplied fasteners are recommended.

Does this grab bar come in a satin or brushed nickel?

Can the 18" grab bar be installed at an angle (as opposed to vertically or horizontally)?
Hi Nick, Thank you for your question. The model 41918-CZ can be mounted at an angle as long as it is installed per the instructions with at least one side being mounted directly to the stud.

Is it possible for me to cut this down in length to work with a 16" stud spacing layout? Example: Can we remove a set screw from the 90 degree returns, cut the bar down to length and then screw it back together?

Although possible, we strongly recommend against cutting a grab bar as any resulting damage is not covered under the warranty and may prevent it from supporting the specified weight. This can be installed vertically or at an angle as long as the instructions are followed and at least one side is being mounted directly to the stud. Please refer to page 5, Step 3 for more information on the installation options available.

Re: 41918-ss grab bar
1. Can the horizontal bar be cut to 16 inches to match stud spacings?
2. The previous question indicated that the bar needed to be attached to a stud only on one side. How would you attach the other side to drywall only ... and would that meet ADA specs?
Thanks for your question, Jim. The bar cannot be cut shorter. At least one side must be attached to a stud. However, the other end may be attached to drywall (1/2" - 2 1/2") using the included wall anchor and remain ADA compliant.

What is the weight limit on 18 and 25 inch grab bars?

Some of the sizes of the Angular Modern Grab Bars listed as "stainless" or "Brilliance stainless". Are they different? Need shorter for side walls & long for long wall but want all the same STAINLESS STEEL color. Is stainless steel UNCOATED? please.

Our stainless finish matches the Brilliance stainless finish. Both finishes are applied with a PVD process. All of our finishes are durable, but Brilliance finishes have extra protection from damage.
41912-SS, 41918-SS, 41924-SS, 41936-SS, and 41942-SS have brillance finishes.
