Is the product waterproof and suitable for mounting inside a shower?

We had a 41924 grab bar installed in our new shower. Though it is very nice we're thinking that a round style would look better and would like to replace it with a 416, 417, or 418 style. Will the mounting holes of the replacement line up with the 419?

Does this type have to be wiped down after every use in the shower like the "traditional decorative ADA grab bars"?

To maintain the Delta Faucet model 41924-CZ grab bar champagne bronze finish, we recommend blotting dry any water from the finished surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth.
