Rough in needs to be perfect
this sprayer is not very forgiving if the rough-in is not perfect. it does not screw in or adjust like the shower handles. It uses set screws. I like all of my Delta products but will have to buy another brand for the sprayer.

So far so great
I put a couple of these on my side of the shower in addition to the overhead "normal" sprayer. I love them. There is a limited range on rotation, but I can aim as I need. really a nice addition to any shower.

The individual water streams are a bit narrower than I expected, but they still provide a nice massaging spray that provides the desired affect.

Is there an additional part like a spray rough (R50001) that is required for these sprays or can it just connect to the nipple from the wall? Second, does the spray only adjust straight up and down or does it also go other directions

Thank you for your question! This body spray will connect to a standard 1/2" pipe nipple coming out the wall. The Delta Surface Body Spray 50102 has total has a total adjustment of 30 degrees up and down (vertical).

Looking at installing these. But do they only rotate up and down, or do they rotate 360 degrees

Does Delta offer body sprays that adjust in other directions?
We've purchased this spray, but locations are not best for us. A head which is adjustable in any direction would be much better. What is offered?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 50102 will adjust 30 degrees vertically. We do manufacture body jet that will adjust in any direction. The model number is 50100.

Is there an oversize escutcheon plate available for this model? My tile installer over cut the holes and i need at least a 3" diameter plate

I understand there is a 30 degree directional adjustment for this spray, can you also adjust the spray intensity or type of spray (massage vs gentle spray, etc)?
