Doesn’t angle for shower
If you’re looking for this to angle down like a shower head, it will not. Get another brand. If you only want it to be mounted for handheld use only it will do that.

CAN NOT BE USED when mounted-HANDHELD ONLY
On the day of installation the mounting piece broke. When this shower head is on the rail it can not be angled far enough down to work as a typical shower head. You canon only use it as a handheld.

terrible design for a showerhead
this was installed yesterday by a contractor and it is a terrible design- the pivot moves very little and the shower head cannot be put into a position pointing down- i am not sure the pivot is even 45 degrees- the contractor tried several ways to install with the same result-
i was very disappointed in this product and immediately ordered a replacement from another company -

Terrible design! Poor quality!
I have 2 of the hand held shower heads and both cradles are broken. One came broken ( we can't get a part to fix ) the other broke in a matter of weeks. It seems as though the quality of the washer holding it together is poor! Main problem is you can't get the part without buying the whole slide bar! If I've got to buy a new I promise it won't be delta! Poor construction with no option to buy parts!

Broken Hand Shower Mount
Well I am finally working on this after quite some time. Within a couple weeks of install the mount for the hand shower has broken. Just as others have mentioned. The handheld barely pivots the 45 degrees stated and makes no sense why it is not adjustable. Even at 45 degrees the handheld cannot be used while on its mount because it does not swivel down enough to shower correctly. It is not a good design at all.
I purchased from Ferguson and am assuming no one is going to help replace this broken piece as it appears that Delta does not sell parts. I will check with both Ferguson and Delta today but I am not expecting any positive results. We shall see. Here is a pic of what I have to look at everyday after a beautiful bathroom remodel.

H20kinetic technology NOT designed for women
We installed this h20kinetic handheld in our master shower along with an h20kinetic 3 setting shower head and rain head with a 6 point diverter. It’s impossible to keep your hair dry with the h20kinetic feature. I wish there was a setting for a regular stream of water or the ability to turn off the sculpted water. Women like to keep their hair dry in the shower when not shampooing. It’s a lot of work to blow dry and style! It’s impossible toI clean my face without drenching the entire top of my head from the overspray coming out. It’s frustrating. We spent a lot of money on these fixtures and sadly I’m going to have to replace at least one of them to be able to get a regular stream of water. Please consider this feedback when you design new shower heads and handhelds. Thank you for listening.

Broke when installing
Beautiful fixture but when installing the bracket that holds the hand held shower broke when we were attempting to adjust during installation. When we called, we were told that we would have to purchase an entirely new bar as the piece could not be replaced. Very frustrating for a fixture that cost over $400

Parking bracket broke 1st use
I used my shower head for the first time tonight and as I was trying to adjust the rotation of the shower head (it was spraying toward the back of the shower and not down toward me) the bracket snapped off!

Does the showerhead clasp allow for angling?
While the showerhead is in the clasp on the bar, can I tilt the showerhead various angles?

The mount should allow you to angle it so that the hand shower is facing more forward or backward.

Champagne Bronze GRAB BAR slide bar version available? If not, could one be made from available traditional grab bar and available parts? Would there be a down side to that? No CZ bars for shower would make me look elsewhere besides Delta for whole bath

Unfortunately at this time we do not offer a slide bar/grab bar in the Champagne Bronze finish and we can not recommend using a slide bar as a grab bar as it is not intended to support the same weight limit. on Slide Bar 51308 drawing the u shape piece that holds the wand broke on my unit. attaches with Phillips screw to the piece that slides up and down that holds the wand. can that U shape piece be purchased alone?

Slide Mount Replacement
Hi,
Is there a replacement part for the slide mount?
We bought this slide bar and hand shower, and it is great!! But, we would like the Shower head to sit on the left side of the bar and tilt forward.
Hi Suexicano,Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the mounts that fit on your model 51308-RB slide bar will not tilt in the proper direction when mounted on the lefthand side since the handshower only goes into the mount in one direction.

What are the 3 settings? I just had one installed and 2 of the setting are spray patterns the 3rd is just a dribble... The plumber says that is the way it is suppose to be. Is that correct? (Delta 51308)
Thank you for your question, Ellen! The third setting you are referring to is the Pause function which inhibits the flow rate to a trickle in order to conserve water while performing shower tasks such as shaving and lathering while at the same time maintaining your temperature settings.

Is it possible to angle where the shower head sits. Ours doesn’t want to budge from straight up and down so water is just shooting straight forward not down to where you actually stand. I’m worried if I try much harder to adjust it I will break it.
If the bar was mounted upside down, the part that is supposed to pivot will not turn the correct direction.
If your bar is mounted correctly, you may have to loosen the screw inside the "C" shaped mount to allow it to pivot.

Are there any parts available? I need the slide bar mount only! we had a resident (Retirement Community) slip and grab the bar breaking the bottom mount for the bar.
