This 24" slide bar with hand shower features a pivot slide mechanism for easy operation. The hand shower mount can be rotated forward for improved control over the direction of the water coming from your hand shower for an enhanced showering experience. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, without worrying about overspray or water waste. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta® Lumicoat™ Finishes are guaranteed to resist water spots and mineral buildup and easily wipe clean without the need for cleaners or chemicals. The ultra-sleek surface repels liquids, resisting water spots and staying cleaner longer, so your faucet stays beautiful. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners.

Perfect hand held shower head
i did a lot of research and found this to be the best hand held shower for my needs. Well made. Beautiful chrome. Love the sliding feature for easy shower clean up, washing the dog, etc:) Price was right!1

Matte Finish is ‘fraying’
We have had these installed less than a year and the matte finish is coming off on both of them. Delta will replace but we now need to pay a plumber to install them again.

Poor Durability
The selection buttons on the back for the different modes stopped working at about 14 months. Also the matt black finish started peeling and flaking off around the hose where it connects into the base of the sprayer. Would not recommend.

A unique shower
I got this shower head, my husband installed it and I was in awe on how amazing this shower head works. It is an amazing brand is not complicated to use either… the installation direction come with it and you don’t need to hire a plumber or installer. Amazing great product.

I would like this hand shower with a tub as the only shower head. What parts do I need to combine a spout for tub and this item?

If you already have a tub-only unit, you will need a tub spout with a hand shower outlet.

Is the 51386-BL have a metal body for the handheld part as well as the bar? Or is it made of plastic?

Can you set the slide bar at any height or does it have fixed positions? If there are fixed positions, what are the distances between each? Thanks!
Do I need a separate showerhead with this, or will it function/is it strong enough to use as the only showerhead?
