This 24" slide bar with hand shower features a pivot slide mechanism for easy operation. The hand shower mount can be rotated forward for improved control over the direction of the water coming from your hand shower for an enhanced showering experience. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, without worrying about overspray or water waste. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta® Lumicoat™ Finishes are guaranteed to resist water spots and mineral buildup and easily wipe clean without the need for cleaners or chemicals. The ultra-sleek surface repels liquids, resisting water spots and staying cleaner longer, so your faucet stays beautiful. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners.

Good features
I got this about a month ago for my new shower I just remodeled. It’s got really good length and very easy to take off the hook. I’m kind of short but this was easy to reach and worked great. I like the features and ease of use.

LOVE!
We had been searching for a new shower head for awhile and when I found this I fell in love with the design. It modernizes our shower without putting a ton of money into it. The flow of water is great as well! I'm looking at replacing the other showers with this as well.

Modern design
I love the style of this shower head + added feature of the adjustable slide bar. If you have tile shower I encourage an expert drill holes for slide bar. I love the slide bar because I don't always wash my color treated hair so this helps me focus water hands free onto other areas. I'm sure it'd be helpful if you have little ones too. Assists having it at reach if taking a bath or bathing a pet. I'm happy with this product and would gladly use Delta again.

Installed this bar and would have to say it works pretty well... and looks sleek! It was also easy to install, which is always a plus! Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this product. My showered now stays at a great height.

3-Setting Slide Bar
Delta puts out such great innovative products. This product is so unique. It works wonderful with our family. We have little ones and puppies to clean. The slide bar is wonderful to use when we are scrubbing the puppies. The little ones love that they aren't getting soap in their eyes when we are washing their skin. It is still high enough for the adults to use. I use the sprayer when shaving my legs. You really couldn't ask for more.

Great Shower!
This is a great upgrade from my standard shower head. It was easy to set up. I like the ability to adjust the height of the head. I did have to drill a couple of holes but it was no big deal. I will probably buy another one for the second bathroom.

I want to mount this fixture to a glass wall. Do you have a kit or chrome plate I can use on the opposite side of the glass?

How do you adjust the rotation on the slide mechanism? I see a rubber stop, but do not want to take off if that is not it. We can get it to go up and down.

To ensure proper rotation of the claw that holds the hand shower, the silicone tab in the palm of the claw should face downward. See Figure A on page 2 of the installation guide:

Length of hose? Are all components metal? I have an existing shower head, what chrome diverter would work for this hand held shower head?

A 60-82 in. (1524 mm - 2083 mm) stretchable metal hose is included. Nonmetallic parts are used to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality product while maintaining safety control for the various temperatures of water that go through the product. With any showerhead or hand shower, for example, the part of the faucet that you would grab onto is typically made of plastic or a plastic mixture, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat.

Does the slide mechanism have any tension adjustment. Mine slides up and down the bar with little to no effort.

The 51386-PR slide mechanism is operated by the handle, when the handle is moved it allows the slide to move up and down. Once at the desired location, you would then lock the slide mechanism.
