This 24" slide bar with hand shower features a pivot slide mechanism for easy operation. The hand shower mount can be rotated forward for improved control over the direction of the water coming from your hand shower for an enhanced showering experience. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, without worrying about overspray or water waste. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta® Lumicoat™ Finishes are guaranteed to resist water spots and mineral buildup and easily wipe clean without the need for cleaners or chemicals. The ultra-sleek surface repels liquids, resisting water spots and staying cleaner longer, so your faucet stays beautiful. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners.

Matte Finish is ‘fraying’
We have had these installed less than a year and the matte finish is coming off on both of them. Delta will replace but we now need to pay a plumber to install them again.

Poor Durability
The selection buttons on the back for the different modes stopped working at about 14 months. Also the matt black finish started peeling and flaking off around the hose where it connects into the base of the sprayer. Would not recommend.

A unique shower
I got this shower head, my husband installed it and I was in awe on how amazing this shower head works. It is an amazing brand is not complicated to use either… the installation direction come with it and you don’t need to hire a plumber or installer. Amazing great product.

How do you adjust the rotation on the slide mechanism? I see a rubber stop, but do not want to take off if that is not it. We can get it to go up and down.

To ensure proper rotation of the claw that holds the hand shower, the silicone tab in the palm of the claw should face downward. See Figure A on page 2 of the installation guide:

Length of hose? Are all components metal? I have an existing shower head, what chrome diverter would work for this hand held shower head?

A 60-82 in. (1524 mm - 2083 mm) stretchable metal hose is included. Nonmetallic parts are used to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality product while maintaining safety control for the various temperatures of water that go through the product. With any showerhead or hand shower, for example, the part of the faucet that you would grab onto is typically made of plastic or a plastic mixture, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat.

Does the slide mechanism have any tension adjustment. Mine slides up and down the bar with little to no effort.

The 51386-PR slide mechanism is operated by the handle, when the handle is moved it allows the slide to move up and down. Once at the desired location, you would then lock the slide mechanism.
