Rated 4 out of 5 by from Top quality shower hardware Delta The product quality is high. Plumber says this is the best as you can easily change out a cartridge. Black color is good. The ability to set the temperature setting and it comes on each time is a plus. Must have the slider bar to move to different heights. Bought the rain shower head as well. The only negative is there are only 3 setting choices on the head and there isn’t a good pulse they are all the same.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Black finish flakes off terribly! The showerhead is great. Nothing to complain about there. But the black finish of the hose is awful. It flakes, since about three months of using. Every shower or bath, we have to pick out black paint flakes out of the water to keep it from going down the drain. The pieces are quite large. I've tried calling customer support, but each time I try there is a 45 minute wait. Wow. Not happy. Maybe we just got a bad item, but I can't even reach anyone to try a replacement. Icky.

Although there is not a specific shower head to match this hand shower, the closest matching shower head would be the Universal Single-Setting rain can shower head, model 52680. I want a stand alone shower head and a slide bar hand shower. I want to use the 51549-RB and DT14232rb/dr10000UNBX. What other parts do I need to purchase.

There are a few options to divert water between the showering components. First, we offer a wide variety of two-in-one showerheads that would include a hand shower. For this option, you will need the R11000 Rough-In Valve and a T11_ Diverter Trim Kit to match your shower valve trim. You will also need a supply elbow for the hand shower hose, such as the 50560. The third option is to use a shower arm diverter, such as the U4923-PK or U4929-PK. You can purchase parts online, locally, or over the phone. Does this come with everything I need to istall in a new shower if not what parts are needed

Unless you would like to purchase a 3-way diverter, this is added directly to the shower arm and allows for the shower head water to be diverted to the handheld, and no elbow would be needed. Do you have an instruction sheet on how to operate your 51549 hand held shower head?  If so how can I get them?

On the Delta #51549 hand held shower with slide bar, can the angle of the hand held shower, when it is in the mount, be adjusted? it appears to be at a fixed angle rather than being adjustable. Thanks!

There is little water pressure. Is it possible to take the water saver out if it?

Hi Carolyn, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 51549-BL. We don't recommend removing flow restrictors from our showerheads or hand showers. To troubleshoot this issue, we first recommend flushing the faucet with the hand shower removed. Turn the water fully on to flush the faucet and the hose. Rinse any debris from the hand shower connection. Soak the hand shower in a mix of half white household vinegar, half water to remove build-up. How can I remove the bar from the mounts on a Lamar’s collection 51549.  The installer mounted the wand holder upside down

Does this unit include a wall elbow to connect the hose to plumbing, or must an elbow be purchased seperately? If no elbow included, does the end of the hose that connects to the plumbing have a trim piece or anything else for a finished look?
