Cracked PLASTIC locking nut
The PLASTIC Locking nut that holds the adjustment lever on the slide mechanism split after a little over a year of use. Now the Slide Mechanism is non functional. We have 2 of these shower handles so I expect the other one to crack soon also. I have sent an email, but have not gotten any response.

Delta quality, but not stain resistant...
We did a total bathroom remodel. I wanted a hand held shower head with a bar that went well with our contemporary style Delta sink and tub faucets. This one does. I love the functionality, but it is not stain resistant like they say. I would buy it again because I like Delta and their quality, but I wish they could improve the finish so that it is more stain resistant. I tried to upload pics, but it did not work.
I am a homeowner, but have general contractor experience. (I like products to be quality and last, but also look good)

Not Worth the Price
Has stylish look but there are a few drawbacks. The locking device for raising and lowering the faucet handle has a lot of give so you can still slide the arm with it in the locked position. I also notice that the shower head will slowly rotate downward if it is left in a position past about 60 degrees. The last part that bugs me about this unit is that not all of the spray options work. I can't get water to spray out of the holes on the part of the head that looks like a fan blade. Not sure if this is a water pressure issue but the plumbing is new. My wife questioned me on spending so much on a shower head but I wanted to go for something special on this bathroom remodel. It didn't pay off this time. This is the first review I've ever posted. I hope it helps someone out there.

How can I increase the water pressure coming out of the spray head?

Thank you for your question regarding the Delta H2Okinetic® 5-Setting Slide Bar Hand Shower and I am happy to assist you today.
Unfortunately, there is no way to increase the water pressure on this model and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
This shower head has been designed to dispense 2.0 gallons of water per minute at 80 psi. If you are more familiar with using a model which dispenses 2.5 gallons per minute or higher, you may notice a slight difference in the amount of water being dispensed.
If you would like to test your model to ensure that you are receiving 2.0 gallons of water per minute, please fill a pitcher or bucket for one minute and measure the amount of water to be certain the model is dispensing the full 2 gallons.

i have a shower remodel project, bought the ashlyn shower trim and head and valve but now client wants to add handheld w slide bar do i have to have a separate valve for this component like a diverter for its own water source ? and a trim?
Thank you for your question, Erica! There are a couple options to divert the water between the shower head and hand shower. The first is an in-wall diverter. For this, you will need the R11000 Rough-In Valve and a Diverter Trim Kit such as the model T11864. You will also need a supply elbow for the hand shower hose, such as the 50560. The second option is to use a shower arm diverter, such as the U4923-PK or U4929-PK.

1 answer Is the shower head angle adjustable when on the shower bar?
This was asked earlier, but could you expand on the answer? Is it only the CZ color that is adjustable, or all the colors? How does the mount pivot? I ordered and received it in venetian bronze but can't figure out how to make it pivot - is it something under the gray rubber that has to be adjusted? The instructions that came with it don't say.

Thank you for your question. All finish versions of the bar will operate the same. The mount should rotate by simply pushing or pulling the hand shower when it is mounted. It may be difficult to turn the mount without the hand shower installed.

Where is the pause bottom?

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Ashlyn Hand Shower 51559-SS does not have a pause button on it. This hand shower has a pause feature that reduces the water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings. This feature is activated by turning the lever on the face of the handheld shower.

Is there a way to adjust the tension on the slide bar? Not the angle adjustment of the shower head, but the tension of toggling latch that holds the height along the bar?
