Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy and modern design, outstanding quality I purchased this for a new home construction. The installation was a bit tricky as the plumbing needs to be spot on but outside of that it was a breeze. Looks amazing and looks expensive!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from exceeded expectaions In selecting fixtures for a total master bath remodel, the temptation exists to chase high priced European products. The reality is that this, in combination with the complete complimentary line of faucets, tub fills and accessories is superior in form and function. This is especially true in low usage states like California.

In our state we need to have a back flow preventer attached to the hand held to pass plumbing code. Can you tell me what the part number is for this item?

what valve do i need to spec with this?

Asked by: katie
Thank you for your question, Katie. This hand shower will work with any of our shower valves. A complete shower will require an R10000 rough-in valve and 13/14, 17, or 17T series trim kit. You will also need a supply elbow such as the 50570. If you wish to divert between the hand shower and other components, you will need an R11000 rough-in and a coordinating diverter trim. This model is designed to coordinate with the Ara collection. Please click the link below to browse through our selection of shower valves. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/showering/tub-and-shower-faucets Best regards, Jon

What else is needed?

Remodeling a bathroom and would like to use this along with a T-17 Shower head in the shower. What else do I need for the install beside the head, hose and bar. Is a diverter valve necessary? what about a wall mount connection?
Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. Besides the 17 Trim and R10000 valve, you will need a 3-Setting diverter. Once option is a shower arm diverter, such as the U4929-SS-PK. For a wall-mounted diverter you will need the R11000 valve, a 3-Setting trim, and a supply elbow. Below are the items in the Ara collection in Stainless Steel. R11000 Rough-In Valve: http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/r11000.html T11867-SS Diverter Trim: http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/t11867-ss.html 50570-SS Supply Elbow: http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/50570-ss.html Best regards, Jon

How does the bar "adjust"?

Customer wants "button" mechanism to loosen the bar so the hand held moves up and down. I don't see a button on the Ara bar, but I don't see a lever either.
Asked by: Jennifer
Hello Jennifer, Thanks for your question. There should actually be a button on either front or back of this slide mechanism. When pressed, this would allow the slide mechanism to move up and down the bar.
