I want to get this sprayer for my dog bath . Do I need to get something that controls temp and volume with this ? Or can I just get this alone ?

Want to add a shower bar and hand held sprayer to my current shower.  I hope to add a diverter to my current shower head and AVOID having to install and "in wall" diverter.  SO - will this shower hose screw onto a regular shower arm diverter ?

Is the hose connected to bottom of side bar/

What do I need to purchase with this to complete installation?

Does the slide bar support weight like a grab bar?
