Wife loves the fan spray for cleaning shower
Well we had a little setback with this unit. For some reason the hose that was included with it had a 1/2" NPT thread on the end to connect to the elbow, instead of the 1/2" NPSM thread that is on the 50560BL elbow that is recommended for it. I called Delta and explained the problem and the customer service rep and I went through the technical specs and it clearly states that they have different threads. The customer rep was awesome and sent me out a new hose and it screwed on perfectly just like it should have! So kudos to their service department (although it was quite a wait on hold) once I got through she was awesome.
Oh and for the person who noted the water pressure, make sure you first fire it up without the hand wand attached to make sure any little debris is cleaned out instead of plugging up your jets, also (and I'm not sure this is recommended or endorsed by Delta, so do so at your own risk, but there's a little O ring in the bottom of the handle where the debris filter is. I would assume that if that was removed it would increase your pressure/flow slightly

Love the look!
I bought three of these and they look great but the function is very cumbersome. The Shower head sits so straight in the holder that it just sprays us in the face. It seems like there should have been an additional attachment allowing the head movement without falling out of the hole. Any suggestions would be helpful.

The minerals in our water are resulting in calcium buildup on the rubber face of the showerhead. The "features" description states that the spray holes can be cleaned "with the touch of a finger," but if that's not sufficient, what do you suggest?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 51584-PN-PR.
To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regimen. If extra measures are needed, a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar (not apple cider or balsamic vinegar) and water could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward and wipe dry.
A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle.

Can the slider hose be attached to my current shower head (once I remove it). It is a Delta product. I am hoping to replace my current shower head with this item so I can adjust the height of my shower head.

Can the rail on 51584 be shortened?

I understand the Delta Hand Shower with Slide Bar (51584-PR) shower head adjusts up and down the slide bar. Can you adjust the angle of the shower head when attached to the bar? I am hearing the shower head holder maybe in a fixed mount position.

Previous answers have said that the hand shower holder can tilt forward "slightly"; how far (in degrees) can it be tilted?

The mount should tip forward 45 degrees. Check that the mount is installed in the correct orientation so it can tilt forward. If tight, it should loosen with use, or the screw in the mount can be loosened.
