Wife loves the fan spray for cleaning shower
Well we had a little setback with this unit. For some reason the hose that was included with it had a 1/2" NPT thread on the end to connect to the elbow, instead of the 1/2" NPSM thread that is on the 50560BL elbow that is recommended for it. I called Delta and explained the problem and the customer service rep and I went through the technical specs and it clearly states that they have different threads. The customer rep was awesome and sent me out a new hose and it screwed on perfectly just like it should have! So kudos to their service department (although it was quite a wait on hold) once I got through she was awesome.
Oh and for the person who noted the water pressure, make sure you first fire it up without the hand wand attached to make sure any little debris is cleaned out instead of plugging up your jets, also (and I'm not sure this is recommended or endorsed by Delta, so do so at your own risk, but there's a little O ring in the bottom of the handle where the debris filter is. I would assume that if that was removed it would increase your pressure/flow slightly

Love the look!
I bought three of these and they look great but the function is very cumbersome. The Shower head sits so straight in the holder that it just sprays us in the face. It seems like there should have been an additional attachment allowing the head movement without falling out of the hole. Any suggestions would be helpful.

The minerals in our water are resulting in calcium buildup on the rubber face of the showerhead. The "features" description states that the spray holes can be cleaned "with the touch of a finger," but if that's not sufficient, what do you suggest?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 51584-PN-PR.
To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regimen. If extra measures are needed, a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar (not apple cider or balsamic vinegar) and water could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward and wipe dry.
A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle.

I have delta 132900-A shower rough & trim kit and delta 51584-Ss-PR 7 setting slide bar hand shower. Please tell me what diverter I need to operate them each separately. Thank you

Is the shower head metal or plastic?

The included hand shower is made of plastic or a plastic mixture. Metal is heavier and can retain heat.

Lumicoat Polished Nickel vs. Lumicoat Stainless - which finish is closest to Brushed Nickel?

Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about, 51584-SS-PR! The PN finish is described as a high-gloss, pale gold finish, and the SS is described as neutral, low-gloss finish. Both of which are nickel but the SS would have the same brush strokes as the Brushed Nickel.
