Replacement bar
This bar is a replacement for a bar with a worn out height adjuster. It is fine, the holes weren’t the same but the length was, hard installation with a hole that needed to be caulked. All ok.

Good quality but the 24" slide bar is too short
We installed this about a year ago but found that the 24" slide bar is not long enough to accomodate the shower height of a tall, standing person as well as a wheelchair-bound person. It would be so more versatile to offer this with either the 36" or 42" slide bar/grab bar.

The instructions call for the supply elbow to be installed onto a 1/2" (13 mm) iron pipe nipple. Can a 1/2" brass nipple be used instead?

Hello. The picture shows the wand holder mounted to the right of the grab bar. Can this be switched to the left side of the bar?

is the slide bar and other parts actual/real stainless steel? looking for something that won't rust like some chrome shower bars have...
Thank you for your question, Charlie! The mount for this slide bar is composed of a proprietary mixture of metallic and non-metallic materials. The hose is a 60"-82" stretchable metal hose, the wall elbow is non-metallic. The slide bar itself is composed of zinc to prevent rust. We manufacture most of our products similarly for safety as well as for longevity.
