Nice coverage
We were looking for a new shower head and or an additional. We tried this by itself but I like it better as an additional. Our child loves to be able to rinse their own hair and it great to rinse the dog off. It is easy to clean the shower head since it is self cleaning. There are three modes: H2OKinetic spray, Massaging spray, and Pause. I cannot see using the Pause to much even when I am shaving.

Awesome shower accessory
Love this new addition to my shower! I have always wanted one of these types of shower heads and it’s just as amazing as I thought it would be! Would definitely recommend this for anyones home! Great addition to my shower!

Works great
I got this shower head installed in my bathroom about a month ago. I ended up paying a handyman to do it because it was a bit above my level of expertise.
The functionality of this head is amazing. The shower head can be put to many different levels, which is awesome because my wife is 5'2" and I'm 5'11". It's super easy to adjust as well.
It really makes the shower look more classy/modern as well. Very happy.

Amazing shower
Picked this up to upgrade my shower. The easily adjusted shower head height is such an improvement over the standard height shower head . Now with the turn of a knob my wife can have it at a height she wants and I can easily adjust it back to where I want it . The push button different water.paterns are amazing so many choices in the way the shower water sprays , and changed with the push of a button

Good features
The Delta H2Okinetic Slide Bar Hand Shower was simple for my husband to install. I was very unsure that this hand shower would be strong enough as far as water pressure but it did exceed my expectations. It has 3 different settings to choose from and it can be used along side your existing hardware if you choose to. This sideboard makes it so much easier to rinse my daughters hair and giving our dog a bath. The hardware on this does have some water spots that I have tried to clean off but have been unsuccessful at it. That is pretty much the only downside to this shower head.

what a beautiful black matte finish on this product, a great compliment to my renovation of the master bathroom. The modern shape was a stretch for me but it looks great with the marble tile in the shower.

Pros: 3 settings. High is most used in our household but low, which is like a trickle, is perfect when soaping up etc. Hose is about 1 foot longer than the one we had before. Everything feels well made and solid. Water bill has been about $10 cheaper since start of use.
Cons: Not easy to install (not everyone is comfortable drilling into their shower or tub surround) Slide on bar is hard to move, which is not great for our household of disabled and senior citizen individuals.
Over all, the money saved outweighs the cons.

I’m so pleased with this diverter shower wand. The water pressure out of it is amazing. It was super simple to install. It’s lightweight but extremely durable. I love the design, so sleek and modern. It’s looks fantastic in my master bathroom.

Love it!
I am disabled and needed something to make showering easier , so I decided to install the Delta showerhead . This has made my life so much easier, since I can hold the nozzle and direct the water where I need it to go. It also looks wonderful in my shower. I couldn't be happier !

This handshower an slide bar is awesome! This setup has awesome finish ! Sturdy design installation was easy ! Would definitely recommend this to anyone upgrading or new install or simple remodel ! I would definitely say this a great product!

I absolutely love my Delta faucet in my shower!! It is so convenient how I can slide it up and down on the wall to whatever level I want it in case I don’t feel like holding it in my hands cause I need both hands free!! I can also take it off the wall and use it like a wand and move it all around the shower!! I think everyone should have one of these!!

Awful handheld shower .
It had 3 settings. 2 are powerwash and 1 is barely drizzling. I don't know what happened at the Delta R&D but they screw big time. It is was too over expensive to he this bad. I would NOT recommend this piece

Small but powerful
A lot of different nozzle options which is great the only reason I’m not giving it five stars is it’s not truly spot resistant. The bar most certainly shows spots and I’m having difficulty getting them off. As far as the performance there is a lot of force especially for such a small showerhead I have thick, curly hair and I’m able to easily rinse it all out.

Beautiful w/poor engineering-parts break easily
The Pivotal collection is beautiful and modern. We love the look. We installed Delta Pivotal faucets in our kitchen & 2 bathrooms during our remodel. We have 2 Delta 51799 hand showers in our master bath shower. In less than a year, the mechanism that changes water options was broken (see handheld spray head). We are in our 60's and are not rough on our plumbing fixtures. All installation was performed by licensed plumbers. This break happened with everyday use. We installed a freestanding tub and installed Delta T4799 on our tub (see part RP91923). The mechanism that changes from the faucet to the handheld wand broke off the first time I pushed it down. Amazingly, the piece that was broken had less than a 1/2 of extremely small threads to keep it in place. Delta replaced the piece but, with so little holding it in place, I expect it to break again. The only other problem is the lack of water pressure in the bathroom sink faucets because of small water flow due to the sleek design we love.

Looks great, price, not so much

Solid Performing Handshower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good overall product with 7 months of frequent use. Matches perfectly with the other Delta matte black fixtures. Has 3 settings but really only found 1 of them useful. Handle/head is plastic and rail is metal. I would recommend this product based on my real world experience with it.

Where is the button???
Thank you for your inquiry, Fran! The slide bar mount actually pushes and pulls to move up and down the bar. Unfortunately, there is no button on this mount. I apologize for any inconvenience.

When using this as a stationary shower will the button stay activated when left in the holder? Also will it need pressed the next time you turn it on?

Thank you for your question regarding the Delta H2Okinetic® 3-Setting Slide Bar Hand Shower and I am happy to help you today.
After you select one of the five spray settings: H2OKinetic spray, Full Body spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massaging spray or Pause, the setting will stay activated until you select a new setting while the wand rests in the mount. You will need to filter through the various settings by pressing the button to switch to a new setting. When you start the water for your next shower, the wand will resume with the same setting that you left it set at.

Thank you for your question, Nick! The R10000-UN valve and a compatible trim will allow you to operate the hand shower. You will also need a supply elbow such as the 50570.

Is this shower "wand" interchangeable with the Dryden hand shower wand (model 57051-SS)?
I bought the Dryden 1-Spray slide bar hand shower but there is not enough pressure. I like the options on this hand shower much better but we already installed all the matching shower & sink hardware in the bathroom so it would make sense to just buy the model 51799-SS shower wand part & change it for the Dryden.

CAN I USE A 36" DECORATIVE 41936-SS GRAB BAR INPLACE OF THE BAR THAT COMES WITH AN ARA 51567-SS HAND SHOWER?
