Constant water spots ruin a beautiful faucet
Purchased this stainless faucet for our half bath a few months ago. It shows water spots horribly! It never looks nice! Even when dried with a soft microfiber cloth, it still doesn't look as nice as it should. I don't understand how this passed QA - it's a bathroom faucet, the finish should not show water spots. We've had a single handle Delta faucet (same finish) in our main bath for years and it never looks like this new one (it cleans up great and looks beautiful). I actually like the design of this new faucet better, but I can't get over how badly the water spots make the finish look. How ironic the color name is "stainless" when it always looks stained.

Materials made of?
What materials is the main body made of? If it is zinc it can corrode when finish is damaged.

just purchased Delta Classic 520-SSPPU-DST bathroom faucets. The faucets do not cover the hole that was made for the old faucets (30 years old.) Is there something I can use to cover the small gap in the sink?

I would like to get a new "cartridge" for this faucet 520-PPU-DST. The faucet works great but I was told to get a "cartridge" to have on hand before
I was told to get a spare "cartridge" to have on hand because by the time I need one, it might be discontinued and I don't want to have to buy a whole new faucet & pay a plumber for installation again. I looked at the parts diagram but couldn't make out what it was that I should ask for. Thanks for your help.

Hi we have this faucet in 2 of our baths. The cap underneath the handle is loose. How can I tighten that? The other one is not like this. thank you

You can remove the handle set screw behind the red/blue button with a 1/8" Allen wrench. With the handle removed you can simply tighten the cap by hand.

Question about the required 2.5 inch clearance to the backsplash. Is the 2.5 inch clearance to backsplash measured from the base of the faucet to the backsplash, or is the 2.5 inches clearance measured from the back of the spout to the backsplash?

The distance to the backsplash is measured from the hole center. The lift rod extends 2" when pulled out. See the specifications sheet for more information.

Good morning.... I have been told by the plumber that installed my faucet that the internal cartridge is leaking and that I need to replace it. Is this cartridge covered under warranty?
