Can this be paired with the RP46870 shower arm without additional support brackets? Just concerned about the weight pulling down on the 16" shower arm.

I purchased this 52159-BL25 shower head and the RP46870BL 16" arm.  Considering the weight of the head, would installing this using a heavy brass drop-ear, such as this one https://www.waterarmorusa.com/product/waed330fw/, be sufficient to support these?

My Delta 52159-PR25 rain shower head stopped pushing water through the nozzles and started leaking on the top and down over the sides. I had a plumber come out today and he said to get a new shower head. It is only 2-3 years old.
